I've had this side effect when I was first prescribed Viagra. But I'm not sure what causes it. I would love to hear Dr John's thought on having difficulty reaching orgasm for men.

It's wierd I know, ejaculatory volume decreases too now that I think of it......but overall desire and erection strength good.

that is weird because other AI's kill libido like ATD.
I thought estrogen was a big part of positive libido....

But reasoning may suggest that E2 may be too low even at that dosage....as mentioned above.
Gonna look into this now.

"Vitex also works as [a Luteinizing-hormone secretagogue], but it also acts as an anti-progesterone and anti-prolactin agent, lowering progesterone and prolactin. Progesterone and prolactin are particularly nasty hormones, in that they cause ? much more than estrogen ? storage of body fat and mental depression. Prolactin can even cause lactation in men. And, by lowering progesterone and prolactin ? just like lowering estrogen ? you'll increase Testosterone through various feedback mechanisms."

Let us not forget the importance of cholesterol in our bodies.
Cholesterol is the most important, king daddy of all the steroids. More than T/DHT/or any other. Cholesterol is the first building block to every steroid hormone in the body.

I was taking large doses of pills (DHEA and Pregnenolone) for long time. My blood tests show me low on both of them.
I changed to pregnenolone cream in 3/20/07, blood draw 4/13/07 show DHEA 3x over the range, unfortunately they skipped pregnenolone test.
I dropped DHEA supplementation, will know more on my next test.

Well from what I have been finding I think DHEA 25-50mg morning and noon would up my overall estrogen in hopes of increasing libido. I am planning to integrate an AI along with a pulse cycle in the next couple of weeks, on Off days that is. Adding DHEA with the AI will hopefully keep cortisol low and support libido basing this on overall the feedback here on the forums.
