Thyroid function / hypothyroidism

What can effect this? I have read too much or not enough Iodine and too much iron can inhibit thyroid function. I am now looking for a multivit without iron. I also read that you need actual vit A and not beta carotene because the body finds it hard to convert this to vit A in people with hypothyroidism. What about retinol palmitate? Would the calcium (citrate/carbonate) in your multi vit inhibit thyroid function in any way at 250mg? Mercury displaces selenium so it looks like this is negative towards thyroid function

It seems brussels sprouts, cabbage, kale, mustard, peaches, peanuts, pears, spinach, strawberries and turnips are also best avoided. The alternative is to add things like Kelp dulse to your diet

I have read that the following herbs will increase thyroid hormone production; Coleus Foreskohlii and Cummiphora gaggul. Hawthorne (Crataegus oxyacantha) can be used to deal with cardiovascular issues

More helpful knowledge would be appreciated

japense take in 13.5 mgs of iodine a day so whats in your multivitamin is not going to do diddly. they have lowest rate of cancer and thyroid problems. Americans lack iodine and salt is not providing enough. Due to the environmrent toxins depelting iodine. Bromine found in just about any baking good, the wonderful FDA pulled iodine 40 years ago and added bromine. And we wonder why cancer rates have gone up by 400% LOL. Right now I am taking an iodine loading test given the fact of past dietary regime of not salting my food for 25 years and not consuming fish due to mercury toxic and drinking alot of green tea i have basically depelted my body of iodine and all my bodily systems are suffering. My gf family live near airforce bases and every one of them have some kind of health problem. I linked it back to expsorure to chemical pollulentss from jet fuel and also fact that she uses inhalers which contain bromine and when I got her thyroid results it stuck out like a sore thum and fact she does not eat fish or salt her food aids more insult. i saw a sever deviation in t4 and t3 where t3/t4 ratio was significatly higher which specifically indicated iodine deficency. Iodine also directly effects estrogen metabolism too. cancer patience are not being successful treated with high dosage of iodine to keep them in remission because it aids in alkalizing the body. they also have elevated estrone. estrodial/ estriol levels. i am having her do the iodine test too and I am know I am dead right on this one..I have spend 6 months resarching iodine and it is a very over looked mineral by medical community.

Clincal study done in boston
Women given 50 mgs of iodine over a prolong peroid of time decreased cancer rate by 50%

Iodine chelates mercury out of tissue..
iodine deficienct childern had elevated rt3/t3 ratio as well - this was a big finding for me !!

Given the fact iodine can altere estrogen could be explained by
iodine helps detoxifys histamines - (5 times highest limit on my urine test) this end up depleting methy groups resulting in hypomethyation of the liver and low samm-e levels. and altered estrodial/ esterone to estriol ratio

I'm on the same page as you Hardas. Have myself and wife on about 36 mg of iodine per day and it's made a big difference in energy levels, I'm dropping fat without even really trying and I sleep way better than I used to.

I got my info from Dr Brownstien's book "Iodine; why you need it and why you can't live without it."

Coleus will definitely boost thyroid activity though I do not know if it will do so indefinitely. Based on some of my bloodwork, I think it can show up as TSH on the test which will fool most doctors. Mine tried to put me on thyroxin though I had no symptoms. I retested after being off Coleus for a 3 weeks and all thyroid numbers came back fine.

You can take the Iodorall pills that are 12.5 mg a piece for about $50 for 180 pills. Or you can go the super cheap route and order up a 500 mL bottle of Lugol's solution for around $50..which should last years given that you only use 1-4 drops per day.

I use the Lugol's mixed in water or tea and the taste does not bother me or my wife at all. I notice more of an energy rush in the morning from the solution more so than from the pills..probably just because it is absorbing faster.

Phil before doing anything get the iodine loading test. People that have been on armour and synthroiud for long time end up depleting their stored iodine. Thyroid requires 3% and iodine is stored 70% in muscle and tissue. SO as you loose muscle your iodine stores also get lower. In clincal research its found out that thyroid medications can increase risk of cancer by 58% in iodine defieinct people. Reason being is iodine does alter the 16a-hydroxyestrone and forces the body to go to a higher estriol levels vs estrodial and esterone. I think this is another pieces of the estrogen puzzle that slowly will come about over time. I was on 4 drops lugols for 4 days and it was the best i felt in months. MY mom also notice where my thyroid was located it was starting to protrude. iodine protects out bodys from mercury, cadneum, lead and other things. Looking on my past dietary history not salting food, or eating fish due to drs having me petrified of mercury toxicity because I showed elevated levels and drinking tons of green tea over the past. It would only make sense that I need to investigate futher. On theiry is that I went low on iodine and it was enough to cause a shift in good:bad ratio which caused hidden estrogen domaince. MY futher research indicated iodine proteects us from lipidperiodation which was my main problem. Lipid periodation in the thyroid alters the t4 to t-3 conversion and also iodine defeincy results in elevated rt3/t3 ratio which has been consistent.

Excellent information guy's, never fails to impress me with the amount of the knowledge everyone has here.

Hardasnails, my TSH went up to 1.9 after my T dropped and my results were as follows:

19.9.2006 (No Hormone Replacement Therapy - No Varicocele):

Total T: 24.3 nmol/l (9.4 – 60.0)
TSH: 0.65

05.10.2006 (No Hormone Replacement Therapy - Varicocele/Testicular atrophy):

Total T: 15.2 nmol/l (14 – 40)
SHBG: 26.0 nmol/l (20 – 45)
Free Androgen Index: 58% (70 – 100)
Calculated Free Testosterone: 356.7 pmol/l (300 – 600)
FSH: 2.7 iu/l (0.7 – 6)
LH: 3.9 iu/l (0.8 – 6)
Estridol: 73 pmol/l (55 – 184)
TSH: 1.9 iu/l (0.4 – 5.5)
PSA: 0.2 ng/ml (0.2 – 4)
Free PSA: 0.2 ng/ml (0.1 – 2)
PSA ratio: 1.1 (0.09 – 0.5)

I was showing hypothyroidism symptoms way before low t symptoms at this stage. The second set of results is after the varicocele did it's damage to my left testicle and resulted in low testosterone and all the symptoms too.

I have always been very skinny with little muscle, I am taking sea kelp but definitelly would consider taking something more pure like this "solution".

Does low E2 cause higher TSH/Thyroid hormone production or is it the other way around? What would you recommend in my situation?

Before implimeneting iodine therapy have a base starting point. Look at my lifestyle patterns and you can see how it does reflect the increase need for iodine also my liporpotein A was elevated off the charts and this to me is really a possible indicator of altered estrogen metabolism and as dr howestein pointed out iodine defeincy. Sea kelp is not where near as strong as iodoral, but check through proper testing iodine loading before engaging..

I just got reading drbrownsteins book and it was very revealing of alot of things. I also called and talked to dr flechta and asked him a few questions and he told me that my lifestyle have severely impacted iodine supply more so inability to detoxy mercury which keeps being excreted at higher then nomral rates. My hypothesis is that estrogen domaince from combination of excess green tea and xeno estrogen from enviormental toxins over whlmed my body and estrogen actually can bind with iodine and act as a goitergen it self. Given the fact that being zinc defiency elevated t3 production was increasing but it was being changed to rt3 instead. this scenerio is typical of severe iodine defiency. iodine also protects body from lipid perioxation and heatling up flax seed in microwave for several months would causes excessive lipid perioxidation. Iodine prevent conversion of histadine to histamines. SO technnically lack of iodine can cause depeltion of methyl groups due to in ability to detoxify histamines and estrogens creating a higher estrodial, estertone/ estriol level. I find this very intriguing and possibly opening another door to understanding mysteries of estrogen

Could my lifestyle and over expsure to xenoestrogens, flouride, and smoke related toxins finally depelted my iodine levels so low I seem the eveidence now is pretty much compelling.

hardasnails....I am hypothyroid and my doctor put me on a supplement called ThyroCo, which is made in Australia. It is totally natural and bought my thyroid numbers back where they should be. There is another supplement called Thyro-Mend that looks even better, with all of these same ingredients in it:

Thyro-Mend™ -A synergistic combination of iodine containing seaweeds, and herbs which contain phytothyroidogenic, phyto-thyroid-receptor agonists, and other herbs designed to promote optimal function of thyroid hormones by maintaining the health of t

---------------------------------------------------

The indgredients of ThyroCo are:

Fucus Vesiculous herb (Bladderwrack) 437.5mg
(containing iodine 250mcg)

Bacopa monnieri herb 1g
Stand. to bacosides 10mg

Withania somnifera root 250mg

-----------------------------------------------------

Heres some info on each indgredient:-----

BLADDERWRACK:

Bladderwrack (Fucus vesiculosus), another dietary source of natural bio-available iodine, has been used by many societies throughout history. Bladderwrack has also demonstrated anti-estrogen properties in both human and animal studies, suggesting that it may contribute protective health to estrogen sensitive tissues.

BACOPA from Bodybuilding.com:

As an added bonus, it's possible that bacopa could increase thyroid hormone levels, leading to an increase in metabolic rate. In one study, bacopa administration showed it can increase hormone levels by more than 40%. Thyroid hormones play a major role in regulating the metabolic rate of the cells, increasing the pace at which your body burns calories. All in all, bacopa is an effective supplement and one of the best options for combating stress due to diet and heavy training.

WITHANIA SOMNIFERRA ROOT: ( though this one only seems to raise T4)

This stuff works for me and is cheap as chips.

I would guess for most like myself, one of the worst things is the lack of blood flow to the penis and lack of sensation at times. How much did what you guys are talking about help improve this situation? Does it completely stop this from happening or what?

Most thyroid sites I have seen are recommending Armour to get rid of most of the symptoms that go with hypothyroidism, there seems to be a lot of positive feedback

Megazoid, it seems GPs won't pay attention here even if your TSH is above 3.0, when above 2 is critical. Are you going to see a thyroid specialist to show the results of your thyroid/adrenals labs to get diagnosed and treated so to speak?

BBC - Action Network - Unhappy hypothyroid patients with NHS

Some interesting stuff right there

ARmour thyroid over times may clear up 60% of the symptoms but it always causes the body to pull iodine from reserves if ones is iodine defieinct and start thyroid meidcine they are not getting the full benefits of the medication. Several people have to reduce thyroid meidcine when properly remineralized with iodine therapy. Functions of iodine go far beyond just the making t4 and t3, but also enterance into the cell and also alot of cell receptors from just about every kind of hormone in the body. So if a person is iodine defieinct and has hormone in the blood stream it may not be ulitlized fully and end up with low levels despite having normal levels in the blood. prime example my cortisol levels where high normal when first getting sick but other indicators where steaming adrenal fatigue. High niormal serum calicum, low alklaine phophotase, altered t4-t3 conversion, low cholesterol, low testosterone, low dhea. my blood test 4 months prior was beuriful no abnormalities, last 12 weeks on contest was large amounts of green tea a day, no egg yolks, little seas food and never salted food, no diary, excessive sweating and high mercury from tuna fish which binds with iodine.

What is "iodine loading test"?
where to get it?
What kind a blood test can I get from Quest Diagnostic that would indicate my need for iodine supplementation.

Oct06, FreeT3=2.9pg/mL(2.3-4.2), FreeT4=1.37ng/dL(0.61-1.76)

Since then I am on 4grains Armour Thyroid, do not feel anything special.
But my body temperature is somewhat better,
was about 96.80F=36C is now 97.70F=36.5C

I should get my new blood test in couple days.
Tests that are done by Quest are listed here:

Jansz given that your total estrogens are elevated if you look at the ratio of estriol to esterone/estrodial there may be a valid explaination. iodine does help estrogen metabolism and also helps to change good:bad ratio in testing results

article on estrogen mediated cancer

its not the fact that we get enough iodine the more research I see its the fact of we are having more being bonded with enviormental toxins, jet plane exhaust, ait we breath, bromine in foods we eat, all these hidden toxins are just making it unbioavailable..

Brownstein claims Bromine/flourine bind to the t3/t4 receptors tightly and render them ineffective. So it may take some time on Iodine to correct this problem.

People are often reporting some "feeling good" after taking HCG, it does not happen to me.
Same with Armour, my body temperature is the only thing that changed. Do not feel any more or less energetic or otherwise. I missed couple of times my afternood dose (2grains), did not feel anything different.
At first, for a long time, I took 5+5=10mg Cortef with my Armour, when I stopped Cortef, feel do difference.
I am hoping my thyroid and adrenals are still strong enough to compensate.

But I would like to check my iodine status, just do not know how to do it.

Looking at bottle of Betadine solution.
provide iodine, 10%

Well, the skin method might tell you that you need iodine, but there's no way to standardize this method. Using the urine test method/ie iodine load test, you get an idea of how much you need to take which is important because you do not want to overdose on iodine for long periods of time...it will cause hyperthyroid-like symptoms as when as intense detox reaction symptoms which are not pleasant at all.

Jans sounds like an excellent candidate for the iodine test and supplementation. You should get tested and post your results and impressions here

The bioavailability of iodine applied to the skin

its been proven to be a fallacy clincal studies have proven this. Not ever one skin temperature or absorption rate is the same plus evaporation rates all different. ITs an old wise tail. Yes it does work for cuts, abrasions, and skin tags..

To clarify, you should Lugol's solution to paint your feet with. The ratio of iodine to iodide in it is the best and safest. Other solutions are not meant to be injested and might be toxic if taken internally.

IF you are going to take the iodine load test, then don't paint your feet because it will mess with the results. The iodine load test uses a 50mg dose of Iodoral 24 hours before the urine test to see how much you are excreting. If you excrete next to nothing..then your body is hanging onto iodine because it needs it badly. Excretng a lot or most..then your levels are fine, which appears to be rare.

some people do so the test after 3 months on a good dosage of iodine come back barely elevated due to NIS (problems with binding sites of iodine due to halogens) so dosages need to be increased to over come this and add in celtic seas salts and vitamin C, vitmain E heps iodine uptake to the thyroid as well so vitamin E defiency would cause iodine transport problems as well

I had a blood draw done on Friday Apr13/07, results came last night to doctor's office and I asked today to mail it to me. No doubt it will be re-adjustment time.
When suitable time passes I plan on going for urine test at RheinLabs.
Hormone Profiling
But I think they just do hormone profiling.
Not sure if they do this iodine loading test.
Where to go for that one?

My hunch it was iodine from the start due to dietary habilts and exposure to certain xenoestrogen for several years.

Lets look at equation
bouncer for several years in smoke filled enviorment with no income of iodine (never salted food, only ate egg whites, and fresh fish once every 2 weeks if that),

Before getting sick I had a ton of sushi 36 hours prior and week before that I was in the night club every night. Histamine/mercury coupled with already low iodine was just the icing on the cake. First thing I ask dr find out what I am missing and put in back in instead i got paxil..
core of my propblem was lipid periodixation and did not know how to lower it I tried all supplements nevver
tried the simpliest thing..

takeing iodoral my piss looks like that from DIm and smell of it to and I am constantly thristy unilke I had no desire to drink before..so something is happening going to take 2 more after dinner time :) may be i will have some wicked dreams be nice

Well my testosterone was quite high 29 so I would assume my adrenals like cortisol and maybe DHEA may be low since I had a TSH level of 2.5 and have been suffering from symptoms of hypothyroidism. I will make a point of getting my iodine levels checked also when I get an appointment with a good thyroid specialist, aswell as Free t3 and t4

If you take Armour then and find you are iodine deficient would it be an idea to also suppliment with a strong source of iodine to compliment this?

Yes because research is finding that chances of cancer are increased tremendously when iodine is not available to the body it pulls t from other organs as they suffer. iodine needs to be replenished fullly inorder to be effective..please have clinical testing done for accurate results and reasoning.

Well I am getting my iodine checked I see my Dr. next week to go over my blood work for low T and Thyroid. I do get hot and sweat a lot can't do more then 3 grains of armour. I have been doing HC 20mgs a day cortef and the armour still feel like crap no engery lots of fatigue and have days were I feel very hot and have shortness of breath. Since going on this I can't take the summer heat more so then ever. Last week it went up to 78 outside and in the house it was 74 I was so hot I was going to turn on the Air. But it was not hot enough in the house. I put Sea Salt in water first thing in the morning and this helps but still when it gets hot out I am not handleing it at all.
I had my Aldosterone and Renin levels checked they are low normal so my Dr. said I don't have hypoaldosteronism. I wanted to try a med called florinef still feel I have this problem I am hypopituitary and most that are have this problem.
At some web sites they say I have this looking at my levels of Aldosterone and Renin. Dr. Wilson talks about this in his book "Adrenal Fatigue" But I don't have my book it's loaned out. Anyone know about this.

I think iodine loading test would be interesting for you to see results. Seasalts has little iodine it and more so enviorment toxins tend to take iodine out. Iodine may add another twist to people with estrogen metabolism problems too. Plus peple that live near chicago, and mid west areright in middle of the goterbelt !!

How is iodine checked?
What laboratory, how to ask for that test, specifically?
Is this a blood or urine test?
Is this done at RheinLabs?
I see them mention aldosterone but looks like mostly they do hormone profile (I think).

I have the shortness of breath and feeling hot all the time symptoms as well. Any temps above 70 and I feel like I'm burning up. So my hypothyroidal wife and I are like polar opposites, lol.

Tell me about it I sit here sweating and she is coverd up. I can't tell if this is my Estradiol levels or a problem with my Aldosterone and Renin levels. I do know taking 1/2 tsp of good natral Sea Salt helps this if I take it first thing in the morning. I can't walk through the stores with out getting soaking wet. When I get out of the shower it takes me an hr. to cool down and each yr. this is getting worse I don't think I can take the heat this summer.

50 mgs of iodoral a day is making me drink water like a camel and piss stinky dirty yellow urine. Could this be possible acting as same way DIM by altering a shift in estrogen metabolism..I find it very interesting. Could Signs of dehydration can be signs of e2 dropping or estrogen emtabolism shiftin some how?

ADRENAL FATIGUE

Salt

The amount of salt in the body is highly dependant and regulated by a chemical called aldosterone. This chemical is manufactured in the adrenal cortex under the direction of another hormone called ACTH (adrenocorticotrophic hormone). ACTH is produced by the anterior pituitary gland. ACTH stimulates the adrenal cortex to secrete a wide variety of hormones including aldosterone as well as cortisol. Like cortisol, aldosterone follows a diurnal pattern of secretion, peaking at 8 a.m. , and at its lowest betwee12-4am. Aldosterone is a very specific compound that is responsible to maintain the concentration of sodium and potassium in the cell as well as outside the cell. This in turn has a direct effect on the amount of fluid in the body. Aldosterone therefore plays a significant role in regulation of blood pressure.

It is important to note that in our body, sodium and water goes hand in hand. Where sodium goes, water follows. As the concentration of aldosterone rises in the body, the concentration of sodium and water rises, more fluid is retained in the body, and blood pressure rises. Conversely, when the level of aldosterone lowers, the amount of sodium and water in the body is reduced. The blood pressure goes down.

Unlike cortisol, aldosterone does not have its own negative feedback loop when there are excessive amounts. If the aldosterone level is too high, aldosterone receptor sites will be down regulated and its sensitivity to aldosterone is reduced. In the early phases of adrenal fatigue, the amount of cortisol and aldosterone increases in our body due to the ACTH stimulatory effect from stress. As a result, the sodium and water is retained in the body with a feeling of bloated. The baro-receptors ( receptors that are sensitive to pressure) of the blood vessels are triggered and blood vessels goes into a relaxation mode automatically and this is regulated by the autonomic nervous system. This auto-regulation helps to maintain a stable blood pressure at a time when the total fluid volume increases due to high level of aldosterone triggered by stress. With stress, the adrenal glands also secrete another hormone called epinephrine. This hormone constricts the blood vessels and increases blood pressure in order to ensure that our brain have adequate blood flow and oxygen to help us deal with impending danger. The sum reaction of aldosterone, epinephrine, and the autonomic relaxation response are some of the key factors that ultimately decide the final blood pressure at any point in time. During the early stages of adrenal fatigue, the resulting blood pressure is often normal if all bodily function is well balanced. If the body is unable to overcome the aldosterone and epinephrine response, then the blood pressure is elevated. It is common to find many under stress experiences increase in blood pressure.

As adrenal fatigue progresses to more advance stages, the amount of aldosterone production reduces. Sodium and water retention is compromised.. As the fluid volume is reduced, low blood pressure ensues. Cells get dehydrated and become sodium deficient.

As with advanced adrenal fatigue reports a low blood pressure as well as a salt craving. The low blood pressure is due to the reduced fluid in the body. Salt craving is because the body is in a absolute deficiency of sodium. Both are due to the lack of aldosterone. In order to compensate for this, potassium is leaked out of the cells so that the sodium to potassium ratio remains constant. The loss of potassium is less then that of sodium, and as a result the potassium to sodium ratio is increased. This imbalance causes another set of problems.

Those suffering from adrenal often have a low body fluid volume accompanied by a salt craving due to absolute deficiency in sodium as well as a normal to high potassium level. While lost fluids should be replaced, it has to be done carefully. When the fluid is replaced without adequate sodium, the amount of sodium in the body actually gets diluted, therefore resulting in an even lower sodium level. This is called dilutional hyponatremia, a dangerous condition that can be deadly. It is therefore important to add salt liberally to fluids that are taken in by anybody suffering form adrenal fatigue.

Commercially available electrolyte replacement drinks such as Gatorade are designed for people who have normal adrenal and excessive loss of potassium during exercise. These drinks are designed to be high in potassium and low in sodium. They can be taken in as fluid replacement if adrenal fatigue is very mild. Sufferers of advanced adrenal fatigue usually have a low cortisol and sodium level. They should take filtered drinking water with ½-1 teaspoon of salt on a regular basis, especially in the morning.

Only a small number of people with adrenal fatigue have concurrent high blood pressure. Those that fall into this category should check their blood pressure carefully during fluid replacement.

Sea salt is better than table salt in that it contains additional trace minerals as well. A good fluid cocktail for adrenal fatigue suffers is vegetable juice diluted with water and sprinkled with sea salt and kelp powder. Kelp contains about 90 mg of potassium and over 200 mg of sodium per serving and is easily absorbed.

Hydration of a person in adrenal fatigue should take about 24-48 hrs. The drink should be administered 2-4 times a day in intermittent dosages. Coffee, alcohol, and tea (with the exception of herbal tea) should be avoided.

Iodine also activates the sodium/potassium tranposrts due to its impact on the thyroid. I add 1/2 tsp of celtic sea salt to water 2 times a day morning and mid afternoon. I have other people notice the same thing from the iodine as well. Dim causes people to piss alot to. I put my mother on it and shes in the bathroom non stop..It may be sign of detoxifaction too..Hair anaylsis will show this well from ARL labs only place I would get hair testing done..

My potassium level from a general blood test was 3.2, don't know much about this. One of my strangest and most worrying symptoms is my bizarre and debilitating reaction to exercise, I get hot so easy and the blood flow seems to disappear from my penis. Lifting any weight also has this effect, the brain fog and sore throats also get me down a bit :whiner:

I am taking a good multivit, vit E and a fish oil at the moment. I have noticed better blood flow and circulation in general but my "variable penis" still has a tendancy to retract. Although saying that since supplimenting this way it hasn't completely fell off with no feeling i.e. feeling hard and rubbery while flaccid. There is definitely a link between exercise and atrophy for some reason

What kelp powder and selenium suppliment would you recommend? What about L-tyrosine and L-phenylalanine?

Megazoid I have just registered, I am waiting for a confirmation email then I will pm you

If you have insurance get great plains urine amino acids and organic acids to see what is going on cellular this is not shown with blood test. This is mostly covered by many insurance just have to get dr to call and order the tests . thats seems to be the most difficult part..

Core of my recommendations is
1.stabilize cell membrane - phosphodytl choline and proper EFA ratio based on EFA RBC TESTING
2. proper mineral balance ca/mg na/k zn/cu ratios
3. feed mitochonrion ALCAR , k rla, coenzymatic b complex, apple cider vinegar, and magneium citrate
4. stabilize flora in gut - eracdicate bad repopulate
5. methylation support (liver support)
6. digestive zymes

i start from cell levels membranes must be first so they can remove the junk other wise you will be self intoxicating you cell. must clear bowel before clening liver other wise your going to get back up and recirulcate toxins (estrogens included) back through the liver

I am definitely noticing the foul smelling urine since starting the Lugol's solution. It reeks like chlorinated chemicals. I wonder if it is perchlorates getting pushed out.

Energy levels seem to be increasing daily. I'm getting less and less sleep but zipping around a lot more. To date, I have NOT been morning person at all and would need around 10 hours of sleep per night just to feel normal. After heavy workouts, I could sleep 11 hours and still drag ass for the next 4 days, be sore for 5.

Now I'm on 7 hours per night and doing pretty well. I have been waking up without the alarm each morning and not able to go back to sleep like I used to..nor do I desire to which is awesome.

We'll see if it boosts workout performance any more..it seems to have but then other "supplements" were also involved so I can't qualify any statements just yet.

Lugol's

Your above e-mail sounds like your Mom noticed protruding thyroid after you started taking the Lugol's. Is this what you wanted to say. Thank you in advance for clarifying and are you still taking lugol's.
