There are many things that you can do, and stop, that will contribute. But you need to focus on things to improve your general health... activity, diet etc. Start with fish oil and learning about essential fatty acids, and remove commercially fried or fatty foods from your life.

The best step is proper lab work with an age management specialist.

TRT can help with weight gains, insulin resistance, elevated blood sugar etc.

Most of the changes that you need are things that you will do yourself. Become proactive and do things to maintain your body, because you do not want a life trapped in a unhealthy body.

Wonder if somehow the reason is in liver, remember you have high bilirubin.
Or reason for high BP and high bilirubin are the same??

Some OTC supplements that have been known to help reduce hypertension in some people:
Grape Seed Extract
Celery Seed Extract with 3nb
Hawthorne Berry Extract
Magnesium and Potassium

You might want to develop a regimen using some combination of the above.

I ended up coming off of TRT because of a BP issue. While on TRT, BP went from a baseline of 110/70 to a high of 160/90, so I came off of it. Within a very short time, it dropped back to a healthier level, but not back to its previous baseline. I cut way back on salt and upped my H2O intake and it then returned to baseline.

Yes: call your doctor and make an appointment.
well ive done that (haha) and it still hasn't risen. Anything to look for when I go see this doctor in particular? Ive seen endo's cardiologists, MD's, and DO's, and while they are all concerned, no one has really looked into this side of teh problem. You had mentioned something about sympathic or parasympathic response...care to elaborate?

YOu probably fried out your sympathetic nervous system and now you are mainly running on parasympethic which could explain your low blood pressure and pulse. Sea salts might work and I hate to say it but licorace root will as well because it increases aldosterone, but it is estrogenic in nature so if you have an estrogen problem then it will not be a good idea. But ifI were you I would have a dr run organic acid test and amino acid urine profile with fatty acid RBC from great smikies and I am sure you will find abnormalities in there. And may be a hair analyisis from ARL because you know what if the idiots knew how to read the tests i would not be were I am at today and hair anayisis do give a for shadowing of what is to come..I had hidden copper toxcity (low ceruoloplam and low copper serum) which was fueled by estrogen domaince as dr john kindly pointed out that i was telling drs for 3 years that there was an imbalance in my homrones but every thing was "in the range" So freaken sick of hearing that crap from drs "in the range" and "its all in your head" "your healthy as a horse take here is some paxil". My dr is great but he moved any slower he go backwards. I wish he just get in there and order the proper test which i would need and get all the information so one can find the abnormalities.

If you have bluecross blue personal choice tests are covered the hair test is only 80 bucks and was best money i ever spent!!

Ill have to look into these tests. I dont have blue cross, my insurance is decent as best......most tests are being somewhat comped but I need to know what these tests are and whether my doc will be even have any clue what they are looking at.

can you list all the tests (and whether blood urine etc.) I really NEED and what will help get me back on track?

I do have 1 concern, I used last summer a transdermal form of 5-baet (retain) at a high dose....could some of my issues be that that compound is still lingering adn Im having issues with cortisol/cortisone? any way to check that ratio, or any symptoms might point towards that.

and what is the thought on licorice? i have it and have used it off and on but am iffy on its final use. what EXACCTLY does it do?

Why dont you relax and actually read my posts? Ive been to a CARDIOLOGIST, a number of MD's, DO's, endocrinologists and while the cardiologist is concerned, he's not worried. My blood pressue is LOW not high....

Im getting an ecocardiogram a week from wednesday. im seeing my main doctor a week from monday, but its also helpful to look into WHAT I SHOULD make sure the doc's check.

Among other things, licorice exhibits estrogenic properties, so if you use it, do so in moderation.
