Regarding RCs in Japan

I'm not entirely sure this is the most appropriate forum for this question but at least it's not the least appropriate. Has anyone ever ordered research chemicals while in Japan? My Japanese isn't such that I can read through the endless legal texts to determine if the research chemical gray area even exists in this nation. Thus, I'm asking if anyone has ever ordered things successfully. Note that I'm in Himeji and not on a military base or anything. The compounds in question DO exist in a prescription form here so they're at least present.
