Hey guys first post. Doctor called today and said I need to get test cypiate inj every two weeks bc of low t. Now I'm curious as I've never used test b4. Is this dosage 200 every 2 weeks strong enough to help me in building or is this too low a dose for me to get hopes up. Also I've read a lot about serms with test. Should I ask him for some when I see him or is this just too low a dose to worry about it. Any feedback helpful and if it's a good dosage what type of reaction and how quickly to expect anything strength wise.

I'm already in great shape 5'10 164 8%. Currently bulking at 500-700 surplus using 2.5 carb 1.5 protein and rest healthy fat. Currently running a five day split with 6th day a pump day for weak parts, chest/shoulder

Not sure any of the above relevant to topic but thought I'd include so ppl would know I've been training steadily. Oh final thing. Bc prescribed by dr. Can I still compete as natty, hoping so

Anyhow thanks again

So from what I read most TRT patients are dosed at around 100-150mg per week.(This depends on your doctor)

So is 200mg every 2 weeks going to be strong enough to help you build?
I would say that It will help, but nothing astonishing so don't get your hopes up to much.

As for your question about the serm.
Serms are used after the end of a testosterone cycle or trt. They are used to restart HPTA. While on the test injections you should not need a serm.

No Idea about the natty thing.

I am sure that another person can do better at answering your questions, as I was pretty broad in my explanation as I am still learning everything myself. I just didn't want you waiting all day for an answer.

Also this thread might get more views/responses if you put it in the anabolic forum or the anti aging medicine forum.

TRT is a lifetime endeavor with no PCT and therefore a SERM is of no use to you.

200mg E2W is a poor protocol and will leave you with deep troffs in your testosterone levels between injections. As a result you may have a mean test value even lower than when you started and the fluctuation may also render you feeling worse.

Additionally this is not pro bodybuilder discussion. I'll move the thread for you.

When i did TRT with some doctor, he used the same protocol. Each 2 weeks 200mg test (dunno if it was Test-E or Test-C) but whatever.

I believe they think onemay recover sometime in life doing this protocol. Recovering using clomid and Arimidex of course.

Thanks to all. Appreciate the feedback. Had it done this afternoon. Was really shocked at how bad it hurt. Not the shot itself but like five minutes afterwards. But it subsided about three hours later. Kinda took me by surprise though.

2 weeks between shots is a very outdated protocol and your doc has not kept up with advances. Also, this tells us that he likely did not run additional tests or discuss any attempts and naturally raising your test levels.

You should:
1) ask for a referral to a specialist
2) let us know what other testing/labs you did
3) at minimum, get your shot once a week and half that dose

You'll feel like garbage. Tell him you want 50mg twice per week, and see if he'll let you do it yourself at home. If not, find another endo.

200 every 2 weeks you'll feel great for few days then bleh. I would want a protocol that's twice weekly.

I don't think you'll see any large gains but it's better than not having the test. If you had low T you'll probably find yourself to have more energy and motivation in the gym. Also it's pharmacy grade so 100-150mg a week is almost equivalent to 200-250mg a week of UGL test which a lot of people don't want to admit. I get Watson Test Cyp every once and a while from the doc . It's incredible **** . Normally they say you don't feel longer esters until around week 4. I felt this stuff the second week. Good luck man . If you build a trusting relationship with him maybe he can up the dose for you or even let you take it home. I buy my doctors receptionists dunking donuts and coffee every time . Taking care of people goes a long way.

Awesome idea about buttering up receptionists. So I had the shot and yea dr said prob wouldn't feel anything for a bit but damn Saturday I had jump in my lifts big time. Best day of lifting since I cut down to low body fat. Could just be mental this soon but whatever ice felt absolutely fantastic since Saturday. Really hoping the crash some say will happen doesn't

I like the feeling of prop way better than cyp or enan. I don't get the fluctuations, everything is very stable, no anxiety, prop is the $hit.

Always butter up the receptionist. It'll get you appointments whenever you want, they won't raise red flags when you keep requesting vials of test or ask for Xanax or Viagara lol. Anyway, great to hear that it's working for you. Slowly ease into asking to up the dose, almost to the point that he'll refer it to you before you ask. All doctors are different but if you truly need the prescription take advantage of it. Pharmacy testosterone ( Watson I'm assuming ) is amazing stuff that not many people are lucky enough to have injected into their body. Delicious ?

The crash is inevitable. It will happen and you'll feel like you're on a roller coaster. Follow the advice given by Kisaj and find another dr. The protocol you're on is very outdated. I concur with Kisaj. I've been on TRT for 2.5 years with an injection every 3.5 days.
