I'm 28 years old, and just got two blood tests, a week apart.
First one came back 318 ng/dL, the second was 355 ng/dL. When they tested bio available I was 222.
They've tested bone density, thyroid, and pituitary. All were kind of expensive, but they insisted it be checked. Then after those all come back clear, they tested my bio available, and said I was all good.
Really? Why would you run all of the tests, expensive tests, instead of just looking at my bio available, if that's all that mattered? Why run all of the tests, if my testosterone was fine to begin with?
Less energy, less libido, hard time gaining weight, including muscle. I need something.
However, I'm 28, married, and we don't have kids yet. We want to keep the possibility of kids open, and personally I would rather not go on a treatment that is going to cost me the rest of my life. Do I have any options? I'd discuss with my doc, but they have all been unwilling to help, and have just told me I'm fine.
I lift heavy, three times a week, and eat relatively healthy. I'm 5'8 140lbs with lower body fat. I am shifting my diet a bit, and attempting to work out more, but its hard with low energy and motivation.
Edit: The above was all from a urologist, and an endo.
