You could drop the HCG again and see if your libido picks up. HCG seems to have a negative impact on some people but I dont believe that is the case for the majority.

I'm surprised on .25mg a week your E2 is in check with a bolus 200mg dose of test. My first thought when reading your post was your E2 was high given your protocol but per you labs that appears that is not the case.

Some will say your test is too high and thats the problem your sex drive is low. I do agree that too much test can have a negative impact on sex drive but I do not think 1100 is at that point yet.

If your "estrogen sensitive 28", is really "LABCORPS Estradiol Sensitive Test with range 3-70", that test greatly under reports a mans Estradiol level. If you are using LABCORP, use Estradiol (test order code 4515) with the range (7-42). The Estradiol Sensitive gave me a reading of 19(range 3-70), the 4515 test gave me the correct reading of 54 (range 7.6-42.6)

When I was taking 200mg a week, my libido went in the tank. HCG compounded that and it took me a long time to get out of it once I realized what was doing it. I dropped the HCG and gradually dropped back the test and moved to 2x a week. That made a dramatic difference. On a scale from 1-10, I went from a 2 to a 7.

thanks for the feedback, just curious a lot of people seem to think doing trt with out hcg is crazy giving that we are causing a self induced organ failure ie testes and that the testes serve other functions other than just producing testosterone such as pregnenolone and other precursor hormones. I am wondering myself if hcg is as important as everyone thinks, I for one have been that impressed with it since I started 7 months ago, ive been on trt for about 4 years and was just doing test inj before. I think I might try dropping the test a little and and maybe bump the ai up to .50 and see where that gets me, the only benefit with hcg that I noticed was the ache went away and I did get some size back.

For me, I've been on TRT for a little over 3 years and only take test and not long ago added in Formeron for increased dryness. My e2 levels are good based on my e3.5d protocol. I get labs every 3 months and I see no reason to add HCG as it only brought on sides for me. My doc and endo both believe that it is too quickly prescribed by clinics.

Check out Proviron it increases my libido and makes everything work downstairs more than Cialis and Viagra.

Dose the proviron at 75mgs ED for the first 7 days then drop it down to 25mgs ED

Good Information
Good information if correct. You ask another forum and they tell you the e2 sensitive is correct and the standard e2 test is wrong. So I am always confused on which is the correct test for men. I don't think any of us truely know.

Not as strong as Arimidex and will not tank your e2 the same. It is powerful stuff and perfect for TRT. I use 2-3 pumps a day.

so the formeron helps control estrogen like arimidex and did you use an ai before starting the formeron, and when you stopped the hcg do you have any pain down there at all. What benefits does formeron have for someone on trt

Formeron lowers e2, but also lowers DHT

I will go in a differing direction just for some food for thought...
How is your overall mood(s)?
How much emotional stress in job/life?
Do you use many stimulants?

I think most likely your AI dose is not high enough.

Some people just have more aromatase. Many times its this that causes the hypogonadism in the first place. Super high e2 suppresses test production and unless corrected can lead to long term or permanent shut down.
Often just the use of an AI in this case can reverse the hypo and I have used Formeron a few times to do this. 2 of 3 so far have a permanent restarting of the HPTA and have test levels permanently back in normal ranges.
ANyways, .25 adex isnt much especially for 200mg test + HCG. HCG alone can cause gyno in sensitive people.

Bump the AI to .5 twice a week and check back with us.
Maybe drop the HCG. IF your on TRT there is no point.

Oh and take the Adex BEFORE you do your injection to lower aromatase before not after administration of your TRT dose.

Another tip...I would do and I do inject twice in 6 days. Your body doesnt know whats a week is.
100mg every 3rd day keeps test levels at a sustained elevated level instead of a huge spike then dwindling levels toward the end of the week.
Youll feel MUCH better. Trust me Ive been on HRT for a decade almost.

Also...try back filling insulin syringes. Nothing as easy as using a slin pin for your HRT. ;)

I guess I left out one thing.
Perhaps give us a list of other medications you are also taking. If uncomfortable publicly doing this PM me. LOTS of medications tank libido.
Maybe we will find another culprit.

My libido has never tanked since I started TRT. I use test cyp and HCG plus a tiny bit of Arimidex. I have tests as high as 1300 total T. For me TRT has caused my libido to almost be out of control. I always want sex and with TRT the plumbing works great too. High test and libido doesn't make sense to me.

Wow congrats! A lot of us would kill to have it work for us like that.

Works like this for most.
A few things that can get in the way are elevated estro, prolactin and a host of medications.
Antidepressants and pain medications are two primary culprits.

ED and difficulty reaching orgasm is what got my doctor to put me on testosterone. I feel like I am twenty again in that respect, I'm 49. I also got my doctor to prescribe and my insurance to approve 5mg Cialis daily for treatment of BPH symptoms. When I had ED Cialis and Viagra did nothing for me. Now that I don't need them for erections they work great. I get by fine without Cialis but it does make my erections come quickly and sometimes spontaneously Cialis is rather fun.

That is the way it is supposed to work :) I think many on this forum are still trying to dial in their dosing and "protocol" (including complimentary drugs/supplements) that works best for them.
