Injections vs gel?

  1. Injections vs gel?

Just curious what everyone's opinion is on whether one is more effective than the other, or if they both work equally well?

I'm currently on 100mg cypionate a week, but I'm debating on trying to switch to the gel to see if it keeps my levels more stable due to being administered everyday.

I see my endo tomorrow and wanted to get some opinions before I made a decision on switching.

  2. Bump for sum opinions or advice before doctor appt this afternoon.

  3. From what I understand the gel is no where near as effective.

  4. Depends on the individual. Both injections and gels work for me. Injections are easier, work for most people, and can't be transferred to women/children, making them the top choice for trt. Gels are good for people afraid of needles, but usually don't increase test to a high enough level in most men. I absorbed the gels really well, and gels give me a MUCH higher sex drive (probably DHT conversion). I just didn't want to transfer it to my girl, so I chose injections. Injections are way cheaper as well. I literally save hundreds a month using injections.

    This

  6. I would never use gels because I have kids and I don't like things that inconvenience me to do every day. With injections, my libido is sky high, I pin twice a week and it takes me all of a minute from start to finish, it's crazy cheap ($5 for 3 months), and keeps me stable.

  7. I'm currently on 400 Mg test cyp e2w with testim on days 10 -14. All things being equal injections are way to go because it's direct, in the muscle, sustained release, and no waste or hassle. I'm meeting endo soon to get regimen changed to more frequent injections at slightly lower dose, canceling the testim gel, and hopefully add hcg and adex. So I would definitely recommend injections over gels. Probably cheaper too. Good luck.

  8. Good lord, you are probably the worst schedule and dose of anyone that posts here.

  9. Way up, then way down. Not the roller coaster ride for me

Agree, roller coaster regime, although I recently changed to 75 mg e3d and no testim. Dr. Doesn't know I changed but I will address the need for more frequent injection with endo when I see her may 28. Will also ask for hcg and adex.

AFAIK, proper TRT dosages need not AI's as E2 levels only rise in proportion to "too much" test. But your TRT dose seems higher than most I've seen...Can't comment too much on HCG since I've never done it, but it's not all lollipops and roses; HCG has side effects as well

  12. I have been on the testosterone cream ( compounding pharmacy @112.5 per day) I'm on testosterone cyp injection @50mg per week. I have used hcg @ 1000iu m/w/f and .25mg of anastrozole e3d and ill tell you go with injections you will feel better and all the testosterone is absorbed unlike the cream.

  13. I could never get my level up on cream. I did however get my estradiol up. Since switching to injections my test level is good and I seldom need to use an AI. I'm injecting 150mg per week divided into every other day doses for more stable levels. I use 250IU HCG twice a week as well.
