    30yr old, test levels 500

So just got blood work done by my dr and by insurance and my test levels came back at 500, I know that's normal but I would prefer to have them higher, he says no big deal but they have always been 600-700 in the past, my muscle mass is still good and I'm a hair under 10% bf

Should I be concerned at all?

No, that is pretty decent. It always goes back to "how do you feel" IMO.

Of course that number will decline over time, but like kisaj says, it's all about how you are feeling. Mental clarity still good? Mood positive? Anxiety under control? Energy still high? If you said 'yes' to those, then given your body fat and muscle tone I'd say you're doing great.

Did you go out partying over the holiday?
Bad night sleep can lower testosterone 30-50% easily. Infection or cold can lower testosterone >50%. 500 is not horrible, but it depends on other factors. I would not screw with it because you just end up causing other issues playing the number game..

Well you should have told us you were a woman in the first place, your test level should be around 25, not 500.

So stress and a general lack of sleep are likely in the picture even if not the night before. Plus, realize it or not, having a baby is taxing on a person even if you think you have it in control.
