Tetosterone levels

First post for TRT. I just had some labs done for my 45th Birthday and my total test was 345 and my free was at 12 (7-21 normal range). My Doc did not run any tests for estroidal, SHBG, ETC..My lipids, Prostate levels were good though.
I'm going back tomorrow to request the rest of the needed tests. What would cause the free to be in the lower normal range and the total to just be low? low SBHG?


Also Doc wants to put me on 1.63% gel but i want the rest of the labs before i go this route.
