I'm 19 and a few months ago I was diagnosed with low T (280 i think) and put on 1 pump of Axiron daily. After 2 months on it I had labs redone and met with the Endocrinologist and turns out my T didn't change at all, so he moved me up to 2 pumps daily.
He won't let me see him until the end of July, and shot me down when I asked for a prescription for an AI. Since being moved up to 2 pumps my BF % has stayed the same but I'm definitely holding a lot of water weight which I know is a sign of excess levels of estrogen.
This worries me because I'm at an ideal bf % and muscle mass and don't want to look bloated all summer. Also, AI's can help to elevate T levels so I was frustrated when he didn't even consider it. He wants me to wait til our next appointment in July to see if my estradiol is high enough to need an AI.
I don't trust this doctor very much, but where I live in Spokane, WA, there are only 3 endo's and they are all completely booked months in advance. He won't even let me consider shots, and hasn't done any further testing to see what is causing my low T, only prescribes me Axiron.
Should I go see a urologist for a second opinion? Can I take PES Erase Pro as an OTC AI with my Axiron while I try to harden out for summer?
Any other opinions?
