    Anti-aging success stories

I'm interested in hearing anti-aging success stories. Something along the lines of I'm 50 years old and and tried xxxx and now I feel like I'm 20 years younger. It seems that people are more inclined to post when they have problems but I did see at least a few positive postings in looking around. Does anyone have something to share?

I am 55 but always been in decent health. No magic pill. Don't smoke or drink and try to eat good food and get good exercise and sleep. To some it may be boring but I enjoy the looks I get and the coments I get.

People need to be proactive in their own health. If a person is having symptoms they should be evaluated properly by a specialist to rule things out. I have noticed there has been a lot of TV advertisements coming out associated with low T which is great. Now what needs to be done is to change how the dr's monitor and administrate the proper labs and dosage to get the desired effect. The solution slap you on couple pumps out the dor and check you in 3 months. In many cases the person levels test lower then what they where when they start, mean while they QOL is decreased. Its all about educating our selves so we make the proper choices because its not the Dr's health its our own.

This is not boring but it is also not a success story of the kind I am looking for. Some of us are not so lucky and either end up sick or simply suffering the effects of aging despite having a healthy lifestyle. This is an anti-aging forum so I was hoping someone managed to succeed in actually figuring something out.

I will turn 62 soon and began my transformation 5 years ago when I started working out and changed my diet completely. After I lost 55 pounds in about 4 1/2 months my body fat was still over 20% but I had lowered my blood pressure to low normal without medication. I continued to work out (strength, circuits, and cardio) five days/week. I have gained 30 pounds but my body fat percentage at last measurement (7 site skin-fold by the same person each time) was 16.8% and has been as low as 14.4%. For my age, 16.8% is two steps above "Excellent". I have put on a lot of muscle. My diet continues to be "clean" with the following macros. C:45%, P: 35%, and F: 20%

One year into my transformation I asked my primary care physician to measure my hormones because I didn't think I was progressing as much as I should. The result was TRT/HRT that is working. By every measure, I am better than I was when I was forty. My BP is better; my lipids are optimal without meds; I am stronger; I have more muscle; I am more effective in my work. People regularly estimate my age lower than it is. More importantly, people at work have stopped asking me if I am about to retire as they did 5 years ago.

I'm 60 Have been lifting many years and still loving it-- At age 50 I was diagnosed with Prostate cancer Long story short I had it removed and returned to my normal life- On year later I started TRT after convincing my doc that my cancer was gone and I would assume the risk Now 10 years later there is still no cancer my PSA tests are great-- my lipids are a bit high but in range My bp is good Kidney function fine I have continued to add and keep muscle I feel great and value every day. All is well with me
