Well, I see you have low white blood cell count and low neutrophils, I just don't know what effect that would have on hormones.

I'm illiterate when it comes to hormones please be more descriptive but do I really need all that also should I stop taking the zinc.My doctor also never orders the whole thyroid panel. He only does TSH or TSH and Free T4 never the whole panel.I also was hit in the testicles maybe that's why my lh is high.I got my blood taken at 8:49 I went to sleep at 1:00 am and woke up at 5 something and stayed up till 8:49 when I had my blood taken. Also is my fsh level okay.

How did you know that? I didn't have a clue. I was waiting for Matrix to answer his own question.
Lol I was just as clueless as you I took a wild guess but i'm taking a multivitamin with 2 mg copper so shouldn't that balance out the 50 mg of zinc?????

I guess this is just one of those examples where it is not true for everyone. It appears some people get enough copper from their diets and don't need to supplement.
I have been reluctant to supplement with copper just from reading the problems associated with overdose. I would rather be low in some nutrients than high just because the problems of being too low are the lesser of two evils.

Yea I just guessed the first time but that's good to know 50 mg of zinc must be to much for me.I thought the multivitamin with 2mg copper would balance it out.I'm going to stop with the zinc for a while and just use the multivitamin and vitamin d3.You know anytips besides raw eggs to build my copper and immune system back I just caught a low grade fever cause my body's fighting back. Also Matrix how do you feel about my Testosterone levels lh and fsh.I have a doctors appointment in 2 weeks can you suggest any other blood work I might need done to get a clearer picture.

I did not know that, but after reading articles like the one below it seems that copper might be too dangerous to mess with unless you have blood work showing you whether you are high or low.

Copper excess
Last updated: 08/07/2009

Copper is an essential mineral with a number of important functions. While copper deficiency is relatively rare, copper excess (hypercupremia) is surprisingly common. Excess copper is predominantly a condition present in women. For example in women diagnosed with major depression 45% have excess copper levels while only 3% of men with major depression have excess copper. (Pfeiffer Treatment Center data) This gender difference is due to estrogen causing an elevation of copper levels. Excess levels of copper increases norepinephrine levels, causing anxiety, and causes oxidative stress.

Copper excess signs/symptoms.
•Anxious/agitated
•Difficulty falling asleep
•Poor concentration
•Depressed (especially premenstrually or after pregnancy/childbirth)
•Tinnitus (ringing in ears)
•Frontal headaches
•Temper/tantrums
•Hyperactivity

Here is another article I've found. I'm not conservative when it comes to supplements, but something about copper worries me.

http://www.holistic-back-relief.com/copper-toxicity.html
Elevated Copper in the body acts like caffeine or even amphetamines. It constantly keeps the conversion of dopamine into norepinephrine going so that you have a constant adrenaline rush to help you be on the go, but you also are unable to settle down or turn off your mind.

•Allergies
•Hair loss
•Anemia
•Anorexia
•Anxiety
•Attention deficit disorder
•Arthritis
•Asthma
•Autism
•Candida overgrowth

Fyi,
I have dealt with alot of copper issues myself with many guys. It can be a tricky beast, but we run a copper serum and ceruloplasm test. If it is low when I look at there supplement sheet there is normally >50 mgs of zinc usually taken. 2 mgs of copper when attached to a mulitivtamin which is most likely unbioavailable in the first place is going to result in vitamin deficeincies. I hear this all the time. I can not be deficeint I take a centrum.
After running hundreds of nutritional evaluations your better off eating a candy bar then taking that pill. You can literally crap the pill out and then read the number on the pilll. Over a huge percentage of pills end up in our water supply. Birthcontrol being the biggest :ponder:

That's great. Now we are drinking estrogen in our water supply. No wonder so many young men are showing testosterone deficiencies.

That's why I drink strictly spring water but knowing how messed up this world is it's probably contaminated with something too.Us humans are polluting and destroying the natural resources we need such as trees rain forest crops and drinking water.
