You need to isolate the caus of this because it could be a sign of something more serious that can be going on. With out knowing medical history or other facts looking to treat the symptom with out identifying the cause is a time bomb waiting to go off. Do not feel embarrassed I see alot of guys on a weekly bases ranging from 15 to 80 years old that have the same condition. The first thing I do is isolate where the issue coiuld lie then run complete lab work to get proper hormonal base of thyroid, adrenals, and testosterone, estrodial, along with checking normal parameters. So get to a doctor and do not except viagra as an exceptable form of treating your condition.

thats a wee bit different then, as viagra/cialis/levitra won't help you last any longer anyhow.

When other hormones not just Testosteorne are out of balance this can be a huge player in libido section. Alterations of brain chemistry also needs to be examined as well since every thing is interlinked.

Hey. I realize this is an old post but old posts still come up on Google searches forever so maybe my 2 cents can help someone. Did you discuss this with anyone other than here? Since you say the problem is strictly endurance I don't know that a doc is necessarily your only choice. I'll tell you though, being embarassed about talking to one you're really doing yourself a disservice. It's a job to them, they don't discuss it at dinner with their spouse. When I got a vasectomy I asked the dude if I would ejaculate any less. Because the volume of your orgasm has everything to do with how long it lasts right? (albeit measured in under a minute) Sure it was a bit awkward but I didn't know what to expect. For all I knew my orgasms would forever after be lame so this was important information for me to know before I commited to the procedure. Who else was I going to ask? Everybody is different so what people advise from personnal experience on a forum may not apply to you. One guy told me last year I would have permanent diarrhea after a gallbladder removal. That person's experience was not at all what mine has been. Talk to a professional that can give you real facts about what the average joe might expect when they operate or medicate or whatever. At 22, at least speaking for myself, I'd be looking at what I could do to have more discipline and control over the physical process.

In this day and age a person has to do what a person has to do to be proactive about their health. We dr's I consult with it comes to certain medication, I notifiy them (dr's) where they can go to get proper medication for their patients at affordable prices legally. This has helped save their patients hundreds of dollars over a years time. The Dr is aware of the medications are being prescribed by him and the patient is getting them on their own. These people are properly monitored via Dr to make sure there are not unwanted side effects. Most good dr's will want the best for their patient and will help them to find cheaper and efficient ways to get proper therapy.

That's a different issue.

Start-stop training (e.g. forcing yourself to stop before you ejaculate and then resuming to slowly desensitize yourself) is one great way to start working on that on your own.

And, believe it or not, the mainstay of medical treatment for this issue is anti-depressants of the SSRI class. Last I looked at the numbers, the mean time for people with PE was ~ 2 minutes and starting an SSRI either extended to 7 minutes or added 7 minutes. I don't recall.
