Troy man convicted of manufacturing steroids sentenced to 3 years in prison
by Nancy Bowman Contributing Writer - July 31, 2017

TROY - A Troy man convicted of illegal manufacture of drugs, synthetic anabolic steroid, and possession of drugs was sentenced to three years in prison Monday, July 25, after telling a Miami County judge his actions were "stupidity at its finest."

Joshua Morrow, 41, was charged following a November search of his home in an investigation into sale and manufacture of illegal steroids. Sheriff's investigators reported they seized vials of suspected illegal steroid manufacturing items, firearms and drug paraphernalia.

Morrow was indicted earlier this year on one count of illegal manufacture of drugs and four counts of possession of drugs. He pleaded guilty as charged and agreed to the forfeiture of $380.

“There's no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't enough criminals, one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws.”
