Any physical activity is gonna be beneficial. What is your specific injury and limitations? Being sedentary is the enemy. You will also need to adjust your diet accordingly to compensate for lower energy expenditure.
Just keep diet as clean as possible. I’d suggest mostly protein based diet. It’ll come back once you can resume activity.
I couldn’t train legs for 8 weeks and really closer to 12 weeks when I had my appendix out. I def lost some size but came back once I could hit it hard again
Yes I’m active always moving around no pain from injury docs just don’t want me lifting till next mri end of month just can’t stop weight loss and getting loose trying to eat more clean carbs and upped my protein
