| Registered User | Hey Dat, I've been running ghrp+cjc at the same approximate dosage scheme as papa (was running Pum's rocket fuel for the first couple weeks but backed off of the ghrp a bit). I have incorporated igf into this post-op cocktail as well with a slightly irregular schedule. It's been exactly four weeks, at six I was going to post my results & exact protocol. Would you like me to post them here, or should I start a separate thread? This is a shout out for Pumbertot. He has helped me a great deal... Didn't forget ya man! Congrats on the new member of your family, too! |

I have noted studies like, Enhancement of the Anabolic Effects of Growth Hormone and Insulin-like Growth Factor I by Use of Both Agents Simultaneously, Stuart R. Kupfer, J. Clin. Invest. 1993. 91:391-396. with such conclusions as "combination of GH and IGFI treatment is substantially more anabolic than either IGF-I or GH alone." This conclusion is tempered by the fact that the study participants were calorically restricted and in a catabolic state and the effect that was measured was "nitrogen retention". So it probably has limited relevance to us because the participants were in hyperglycemic states to begin with and these hormones were used to prevent loss in such states. Not withstanding these limitations I am very interested in your results. Thanks for making the offer. Much obliged.

To what extent does acipimox differ from niacin? Is it okay for us to take a study using a niacin derivative and attribute those findings to niacin? The first study tells us that Acipimox elicited an additive effect to GHRH and or GHRP-6. The added effect was small (compared to GHRH+GHRP-6) but significant...say 7 mcg/l and illicited a GH peak occuring 180 minutes post administration. So if you assume GHRH+GHRP-6 illicits a GH peak 30 minutes post injection then you would take the Acipimox 150 minutes prior to taking the GHRH/GHRP-6. If you are using it as a standalone for example pre-bed take it an hour and a half before bed. The other 3 studies are 25+ years old and I think not directly on point. But you have read all of these studies so please elaborate and give us your thoughts.

I was mainly worried by you saying that "Fatty acids inhibit GH release even more than carbs." and the fact that it's hard for me to control my fat intake where I'm at right now. From those studies I concluded that acipimox and niacin lower free fatty acids levels. I was thinking about taking about 500 mg of niacin with my last meal before bed, hoping it would reduce free fatty acids so they don't inhibit the effect of the pre-bed cjc-1295 shot. I was also hoping some one would reply with "No, I wouldn't do that, because niacin has this and that negative effect, which would interfere with this and that".

![]() By-the-way it is wise to try to control those fats pre-bed. I got deeper sleep from these peptides when I stopped my fats a few hours pre-bed.

| Registered User | I would assume that since niacin inhibits FFA release, which is part of the negative feedback loop, it (might) improve GH release. The question is whether you really want to inhibit FFA release... |

I'm hoping I start sleeping better. I wake up exhausted and just zonked out. I wake up quickly though and usually don't have any issues throughout the day. I do drink coffee though. | Registered User | Quick question, & I'm asking because this is pretty specific and hard to research so I figured someone here might have the jump on it. I recently got a gash, and didn't think it was a big deal. Long story short I wound up having to go to the doc's AGAIN, & now I have to be on two antibiotics cause it's infected. One is good ol' cephalexin, the other is smz/tmp?... the generic for bactrim. Is there anything I should/need to know about these two antibiotics that could possibly inhibit the efficiency of my peptides? Neither has to be taken with food, so it won't change my diet in any way, meaning my injection schedule throughout the day can remain the way it is. |
