What needle length for insulin syringe?

I just received a box of 100 1mm, 1/2" needle, 30 gage. Is the needle length too long for gh? Should I push it all the way in? Seems longer than I need. Please chime in. Thanks

Go IM with the hgh, just jab anywhere. Shoudlers, thighs, etc
