Before I got married, I had tooons of FWB's --- out of my stupidity though, I never clarified that with them. I just kind of let it happen, but made sure each one knew I didn't want a "future". Needless to say, it cost me a bunch of friendships, but eventually they come back around no matter how bad it is -- in some way shape or form.

Not for a while now, but basically that's what happens sometimes. You deal with it or don't got he FWB route. Personally I don't see anything wrong with it, you're not destined to marry or even date everyone you have sex with. But it's just natural that some people will get more involved than the other person wants to be. And you can be on the other side of the issue just as easily too, wanting more from someone who just wants a nice care free screw every now and then with a person they like and trust.

For me personally it went wrong too many times to be worth continuing, so I shy away from the idea these days. Especially since I wouldn't want to chance losing any of the female friends I currently have because they're all pretty damn great girls. I'm definitely sweet on a couple, but it's either mutually let's go for it or nothing when it comes to a relationship. No in between for me anymore.

piston, well she was a good friend of yours at the time, and while you wanted to 'beat that punani up' (i loved that term) there's more to a friend than just hitting it. I'm sure youy and her got along and it was mutual so its not like just cuz you didn't hit it that it was for nothing. You still have a good friendship which I think counts for A LOT.

My personal opinion is, if your going to sleep with your friend you risk losing them...plain and simple. You may get it to work and everything be ok and you may not, it just depends if that's a risk your willing to take (and if she is that hot too).
