Just scanning people's profiles here it seems like a huge presentage of us are working tech related jobs. I guess its just trying to break the mold of what a computer geek is supposed to look like eh? or maybe we just like to hack our muscles too :)

Plus you can spend all day on AM :)

Same thing I noticed was odd, how many corvette owners are tech guys. I think its just that the tech guys are the ones using the forums more than non tech people.

I fall into that tech job category too. I was a smart geek first...the muscles came later.

I'm surrounded by coffee drinking out of shape ppl. Ironically, I find myself being motivated to do everything possible to not be like any of these guys. Negative motivation I guess.

Although I'm an actor too, who finds himself topless far too often on film - now that is positive motivation. You can never go back in time and change those pics.

Sadly, I do not fit into that Corvette group though... :(

Ain't that the truth with most dry technical boring stuff. I really enjoy fixing things and helping people so this is why I love the desk, but the reading boring monotone tech data is teh sleep:fool2:

Bah. I've got a real technical job - I'm the lead chemical engineer for a big-azz chemical plant.

I get to use terms like "Le Chatelier's Principle" and "Bernoulli's Effect" errrryday.

I actually got to use "Fourier's Law" today. I was stoked. It's not often they trust us co-ops with numbers.
