Seems like there quite a few baseball fans here on the board, so here's a place to discuss the most exciting time of the year! Really hoping the Cubs can bounce back today, but overall that Mets pitching staff is gonna be a tough road for whomever they play.

I do like baseball, but it takes a lot for me to actually watch a game, let alone a series. However, this Cub and Cards series is very entertaining. There are so many lead changes in each game

Agreed. If the nets starters throw like they did and the home plate umps give them those low and out calls they'll be damn tough to beat. I still haven't heard...what's the news on Cespedes' shoulder?

They're saying he got a cortisone shot and should be ready for next week, but we'll see if it holds up

Mets are definitely hot, royals are pesky though. Should be an interesting series. Let's see if Murphy can keep mashing, unbelievable

The list is long of players that were supposed to turn things around. Maybe once they start focusing on the team instead of individuals, things will come back together. Until then we just keep remembering 2005 lol
