Yup it has a hd cam hd mic . Id go with the mid price one best quality i still have one from 2010 i bought works perfect. All my accessories are logitech goes with any os .

Like bighulksmash said, Logitech has some good ones at different prices. Typically the ones built into the laptop are sufficient for skype.
