So this isn't your usual what shoes do you wear to the gym thread, this is a what shoes/sneakers do you wear outside of the gym thread.

I am one who could care less about fashion and like to dress for comfort, all I have ever worm have been skateboard shoes. Now at 28, I would like to step up my sneaker game.

Would love some recommendations on new sneakers that can be worn with everyday clothing.

Thanks!

I would suggest loafers, but they can look odd depending on what you're wearing. I have something similar to the following. Nice and casual

If you just want a nice casual sneaker, Puma makes nice looking ones that go with a lot. Or you could go with a casual desert boot.

Just pick what you like. I mix up all kinds of stuff and I'm 36.

I enjoy real bright nikes
Flip Flops
Boat shoes
And you can never go wrong with Concord low 11s

Anything under $60 is perfect for me!!!!! I won't pay more than that for any shoes.

My buddy just picked up some LeBron high tops for $200, I told him he was crazy.

I go for somewhat low key sneakers, usually Nike if I can find them on sale, but $75 is about my limit on shoes.

I will take a picture of my shoes tonight. Mine are not that glossy and only spent $30 on them. And they are Stacy Adams. Gotta love Brad's Deals!

Outside of the gym, I'm a big fan of Ecco sneakers. They aren't cheap, ranging between $120 - $200, but they are unbelievably comfortable and last forever. ... Mattresses and shoes are two things you should not skimp on.

Yeah I would like to pick up a pair of loafers, along with some boating shoes. That's the thing, I need to diversify my collection and have some nice shoes along with my everyday shoes. Thanks for the suggestion bud!

I'm with you on bright Nikes, I love them. I have recently been getting into flip flops, was never a fan of them. What do you like for boat shoes?

I'm the same way, I think $75 was the most I have ever spent on shoes.

Haha your friend is crazy, but some people are die hard sneaker collectors. What style of Nikes do you like?

I agree with you that you should not skimp on shoes. $120 I can handle if they are great quality shoes, but for $200 I'm not trying to take out a mortgage lol.

I have fallen in love with Keens (their shoes, boots and sandals are very comfortable), and Altras (they are runners but I wear them out and around too). They are low and flat and incredibly comfortable.

My go to sneaks are Adidas and vans and I may have 20 pairs of just those in my collection, but maybe 40 pairs of shoes total. Lol, man, I've got a problem.

.
I just picked up a pair at Kohls for like 60 bucks. Real comfortable. The resort I'm going to in Sept requires shoes for 2 of the restaurants, so I'm just packing them away till then.

Lol thanks. Just saw this.

Depends on what you're after? I have all kinds of shoes, but I like to have everything flow from my sneakers, watches to my clothes.

Depends on the occasion. I rock my canvas shoes usually as they are conventional but t depends on how you dress really. If I don't where jeans and wear like khakis need something nicer obviously like oxfords.

Wardrobe simple. At the same time I do dress fairly nice for my age, as I don't look like a usual college kid with graphic tees and whatnot..

Follow sneakerbaas on Instagram-they have dope shoes. I am a Nike guy for the most part. Roshe, AirMax, Pegasus. It's a bad addiction and I highly advise against it. Shoes and supplements are going to be the death of me.
