Lipoma Lump

I think I have a lipoma bump on the left side of my lower back. It is squishy, moveable, and does not hurt unless I am seated for an extended period of time. I am going to call tomorrow to see when I can get it checked out. Question is, if anyone has had one before, how long were you side lined from the gym? I'm thinking since it is right above my butt on my lower back, I will need some time, maybe I'm wrong.
