On Friday, the New Orleans Advocate reported that former NFL safety Darren Sharper’s codefendant told investigators that Lions running back Reggie Bush spiked drinks with ecstasy, and distributed ecstasy, in Las Vegas.
Bush’s lawyer strongly denies the allegations.
“This is outrageous,” attorney Shawn Holley told Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press. “I can say to you on the record that Reggie adamantly, vehemently and unequivocally denies all of the statements in that article. We are demanding a retraction from the Advocate and Reggie is considering taking legal action.”
