So, I'm starting a new job in about a month and want to look at getting a membership to a chain of gyms that will give me the ability to workout almost anywhere I am on the road... My only real criteria is that I want it to have free weights (bb and db)... other then that anything will do.

What are your experiences with any of the chains?
Any other frequent travelers that can chime in on their gym of choice?
What gym has the most sheer locations?

Find any decent 24 hour gym, or try to google where you are traveling and then on google maps find your hotel or where you are staying and search (Gym's) and you can usually find some local ones, and most of the time you can get a 3-5 day pass free while you are there.

i typically find the smaller knock in the wall gyms to be superior than the big chains, better atmosphere, and more people who know what they are doing.
