The best feeling in the world is being at PEACE with yourself, and having your heart, soul, and mind all aligned with each other. This is a feeling many will never understand...

Have you ever wanted everything and nothing at the same time?

This is called CONTENTMENT and again, many people will never understand...

Happy heart, happy soul, happy mind, happy life....

Here are some authors/scholars I've learned lots from:

    Eckhart Tolle
    Alan Watts
    Amma
    SN Goenka
    Carl Sagan
    Richard Feynman

    my grandmother...

I feel like working out is a fantastic way to understand the body as a whole. I cannot imagine the next time I do a 10 day Vipassana sit and they tell me to analyze every inch of my body. I'll have a much greater mind-muscle connection now and internal awareness should only be amplified by this I assume. I recommend Vipassana if you have not looked into it.

There is no god. Understanding science and the true nature of the universe and its creation is more wonderful than some childish story from a book of fantasy.

To understand the infinitesimal chances of human life being created amongst a universe of mainly lifelessness is to appreciate the here and now which is guaranteed, and to not pine for the hereafter which nobody has proven exists.

None of that would be here without God! I'm not gonna sit here and have a debate over this either! This thread was created for positive and encouraging words not to debate Gods existence. It breaks my heart for you and I pray that you'll change your mind. You have a right to believe what you want though.

I don't need your superiority masked as pity. Don't bother praying for me. My life is complete, happy, and full without being shackled to the ramblings of ancient nomadic tribes or the vague doubletalk of ancient far-East quacks.

Well…..this thread will be closed momentarily. Even as a none-thiest myself, there is no need for these debate threads here as they never end well.

I will say this love2, as much as I respect your sentiment and feelings, and you have every right to them, I would tell you that the first creation argument is quite flawed.

I would suggest reading Bertrand Russell's Why I am not a Christian. Gives a good insight

I am not sure why ANYONE tries to debate this because neither side can prove their particular view.

Whether you believe or you don't you have the exact same proof....

No sense in debating with someone that believes the opposite of what you no matter what side of the fence you are on.

If you believe in a god and you're a good person great high five, if you don't believe in a god and you're a good person great high five.

Explain what ' bad day' means to u....
A bad day for me is when I have a patient that I've been caring for day in n day out pass away on me! Now that's a bad day!
( I work in a nursing home with 45 seniors, age 70-104 and each one of them is like family to me..)...
I know that I've given that patient best care he or she could get! I know the pain n suffering is over but it never gets any easier on me!
Sooo, I balance it out by training hard as fk!
Try to make the best of ur life puccah, cause it does go by fast!

My life is very simple; I don't sit dwell on things, and I don't even remember the last time I had a bad day. This thread is suppose to be uplifting, optimistic, hopeful, and positive. That's how I live my life and I just wanted to share a bit of it.

What, you only want to hear pro-spiritual stuff? Can't handle an opposing view? Religious people are such babies. They take every opposing viewpoint as a threat to their comfortable worldview. Their faith must be so very weak to feel so very threatened by discourse.

Thats exactly why they do because they know in their hearts its highly improbable indeed. But thats the beauty of blind faith. Even if it leads you over a cliff don't worry my child I'll lift you back up! lol

Your very miss-informed. Thats how the tabloids at the time dipicted him remember he was around at the turn of the last century! And here's the truth about where the 'sacrificing of children' came about.. when asked if he did he stated "yes everyday!" Meaning he lets say pleasured himself. But theres no place for that here. He founded a new religion 'Thelema' which is the belief that only you can control your own life. You are your own creater & create your own fate by your own actions. I could go on but won't. The Christians at that time hated the idea of someone preaching that so did their best to destroy his reputation and succeeded. Its legacy obviously still lingers today hence your comment......

Satanism is not the belief in a physical devil. It is about personal empowerment and defying the laws that would shackle you.
