Heard today that a long time friend had been admitted to the hospital in a coma. He came out of the coma but his short-term memory was gone. We left to go to visit him at the hospital about an hour away and were told when we got there he had died 20 minutes earlier due to a blood clot. It is thought that it was all brought on by complications of his diabetes. I haven't seen him in over a year due to him living in another town now and our schedules never matching up. So, my "learn from it" is to make the time while you still have the time! There won't always be a tomorrow.
