I cant seem to find any information on this on the web due to wording or lack of research, but maybe someone here can point me in the right direction.
I am curious to see if smoke from cigarettes that is saturated in furniture or walls in a house can have any adverse affects on children and or infants. I do not smoke, but am just curious as we were discussing this at work recently and wanted to do some more reading on this.

i know that if a smoker touches a baby or child that the nicotine can be absorbed. i would think that the furniture would be very similar. i have some friends that are parents now that used to smoke and stopped because of this reason.
