Pay it forwrad thread

Hey guys. Just thought I'd post this.

I don't see enough of this happening with people being genuinely nice and doing things for others so here's my attempt to change someone's day

Do something random for one person today or tomorrow or any other day

Today my pay it forward was to buy a stranger their coffee at a 711. Just hoping others follow my lead to help make someone else's day better

I gave a lady lunch money so she could feed her child... only hope was the money actually went to the kid for lunch lol

Yes my wife is telling me also about this pay it forward says she in drive through for Chick-fil-A behind poorly looking car then on arriving to the window lady tells that the people in that car pay for her whole meal!
So next time she is Chick-fil-A drive through she also does this same thing the person in the car up next.

I haven't done this in awhile, but I used to drive around Austin to panhandlers and trade food for signs. I used them as decorations for my apt.

I am going to get even healthier so I can donate a kidney to my brother.

A man was in line and I asked about the toy he was buying for his dog. His ATM card didn't work, so I paid for him.

That's a remarkable story about your brother, I hope all goes well with him and his recovery, nice gesture at the pet store too.

We as a family have been giving something away every month to people in need. I gave my son's crib to a woman who had 5 children and lived in a trailer who didn't have money to buy a crib for her baby number 6. We have given my son's toys, clothes and shoes and food to people in need. We've also boughten groceries for homeless people. Helping others definitely makes our hearts happy. I don't like to see people suffer, I have a hard time seeing people in pain or living under extreme conditions or life threatening illnesses. God has been good and merciful and he has blessed me with a wonderful family and with his blessing I've become a physician which has given me the opportunity to help others. Awesome thread!

My church group is going to get stuff together for her to have stuff in her new appt since she doesn't have a lot of the essentials. She may not go to our church group but she's still part of the Body.

I work in a psych hospital, and we have a patient who doesn't have many clothes that fit, she is on meds that have caused a big weight gain, I went to target and got her 2outfits in a larger size and locked them in her closet, ( I can't say there from me) when I unlocked her closet she looked so confused and was so happy she cried... Wish I could have done more

Ok, I live in Detroit so things like this don't happen too often. There was a dude who had a gas can in his hand at the gas station who was begging for gas and the guy next to me gave him some gas. I said yo, i can help and gave him like 2 gallons of gas.

If he would have been a homeless dude w a sign, which I see everyday I would have ignored him...

I bought the guy behind me holding a gas can and a bag full of pennies a couple of gallons of gas. It turned out his wife had ran out of gas on her way home from work and that change was the last of their money till next week when they got paid. He was speechless.
