Just wondering how you guys get treated when you say go to do the shopping or are just hanging out in public?

compared to before you started weightlifting

I remember the first time, I was walking down this mall, and I just felt like eyes on me and I heard a "mmmmmmmmm"
I use to think I was paranoid n **** but when people fuckin honk outside your house or when your walking somewhere its just like errrrrrrr

its not all good because people are critical as ****
but its not bad because its a good thing.

what do you guys get and how do you handle it?

Im big enough for people to notice but not big enough to intimidate so if I go to a bar all the idiots with beer muscles want to pick a fight with me. I also live in Denver, where gays are widely accepted, so if I go to a coffee shop Im almost always get hit on by a gay guy even when my wife is standing right by me. That could just be the shaved head look though too.

Adults typically move away from me rather rapidly. Children like to run and hang off my body parts and I just drag them around. Sometimes when I am at the beach, women like me to stand by them so they can look at my body and I create a large area of shade for them.

at my biggest 270ish I seemed to intimidate a lot of people. No one would stand close to me in crowded places. i also got sized up a lot. I found a lot of guys wanted to talk to me and 98% of all women were scared of me :sad: . I think this year i will try to stay a little smaller i might even try to get my abs to where i can see them well.

Michael Savage explains it somewhat in his book, and he gets it right. Women (these days) are scared of masculinity, I think that can be applied to most people in general. But don't get me wrong, they want a man (who is a man) - not a girlie man in a flowered pink shirt with 9 inch arms (you know, the heroin fashion model type look).

I hear ya I am 6' and even when I weighed 250 and never over 15% BF, I didn't get a second look. Where are these other guys from the land of the little people. :blink: I am around some good ole farmer boys who come out of the womb weighing 200lbs and carrying a cow under each arm.

I mean yea ok 20 years ago when the US population was smaller a 6'2" 250lb guy was a BIG BIG man but now a days come on. Maybe in a college bar where the average guy weighs 180lbs but NOT in the real world.

Hell they even have triathlons for guys 225lbs and over and let me tell ya they aint fat.

well im banned, but I have this name- Though I plan to only read or possibly ask a question from now on- I didnt even like what I was writing or becoming either.

Back to the point:I wanted to see peoples experiences with how Soceity treats them
i.e Famous people get free ****- privaleges
rich people get respect
but theres something wrong with having that I'll do what you wont attitude/confidence in who you are that makes people act negatively.

Such as when I was "normal" or younger if I dressed nice etc that was cool- but nothing intimidating
now If im dressed up- its like I feel people giving me attention or looking at me- like im standing out and this can be good or bad- depending on whose looking.

Also does anyone else get that alot? it makes me want to crack up and laugh sometimes- you know.

It's true, when I was 230ish I'd get aproached by women all the time. Now i'm around 265-270 and I just get looks from them. Seems like their just intimidated. I definetly love being bigger though, my friend is 6'1" like 205 or so and it's just like was said earlyier, whenever he goes out somebody pics a fight with him. He's got a pretty good build but he's not intimadating so the beer muscle jerks get jelous and **** with him. Being "bigger" a great thing when your on a construction site. Everybody's just alot nicer to ya.

I've been 6'4" since 8th grade, so I usually get stares. Back when I was a shitload fatter they weren't the good kind. Now they're reasonable. I only realize how I make other people feel when I'm around freakishly big people. Once saw a guy who was about 7 foot or so and he looked like a mean motherfucker. Made me a bit nervous to say the least, but helped me understand being so much bigger than most people does have an effect on them, especially women.

Odd though, 'cause most of the women I've dated have been shorter than average. My last girlfriend was tall, but the one before that was around 5'2". Odd match, but she was racked like a heretic and had a great ass. Loved racquetball too, which was a plus. I was in great shape when we were dating.

Well I am 6' 235 and in my mind anyone the same size or smaller/shorter than me is small lol

But part seriously part of the year I live out in farm country and if you weigh LESS than 250 you ARE small, and that goes for the woman too. :blink:

To answer the question, I haven't gained too much muscle (cutting) but I went from 275 to now I'm at 193. Its a world of change for me, both good and bad. Good is that I'm getting a lot more attention from females. They just don't talk to me anymore because I'm a friend of their boyfriend's or because they want something from me. Bad is that I lost a lot of friends. In High School, I was in football as a lineman and thats who most of my friends are. So I fit in nicely. After High School, a lot of us no longer could maintain our weight (mine was at 220-240) and gained weight, myself included. I decided "no more" and cut. I was accused of taking steroids (they don't know **** about supplements so I doubt they knew about steroids that have leaning properties) and most of them claimed that I'd stop losing weight by the end of the summer. Well, I've lost about 35 lbs since that moment. It sucks but to make a bad thing good, I made a lot more friends that don't seem so insecure and aren't fat. I still talk to a couple of my old friends, people who were actually happy and gave me props on my transformation. Thats still about two or three out of 25 or more. Not good.

So there you have it.
