    A newb 15
    Been training couple years 5-10
    Training ten plus years 3-7

    Natty if course, juiced has to many variables to really say.

    Right. I'm about 1 year in so far maybe a few months because I actually dialed in my knowledge.
    Was going before didn't have a clue.
    Started at 170 or so 195 now. Was like 14/15% bf...

    Hmmm. Ive been in the gym for almost 10 years. Seriously training for around 5. I doubt I can get more than 5 pounds a year without assistance. And that would be with no cut phase either.

    I do around 10-15 but then again I cycle aas (test for 7months last time gained 18-20lbs kept bf low)

    im still pretty low on my natural potential so i am holding out on being able to put on some serious lbm still. only perk about being skinny fat lol

    I skipped this thread the first time around because I figured it would be filled with some outrageous bull**** numbers, but I gotta tell ya, thats actually a pretty good estimate.

    5-10 year but I usually burn a few lbs fat every year. A recomp basically.

    I've been training consistently for about 8 years now and I'm fairly certain I could gain 15lbs of lbm by this time next year, naturally....

    Only problem is that I would have to gain around 40 total pounds to manage that. Not sure how much lbm I would hold onto if I decided to cut after that either.

    Agreed. One thing I never really considered until now is that there are various ways to define "muscle," but the most consistent one would be the following: muscle. That is, dry, hard muscle, myocyte number and hypertrophy - not glycogen, water, and interstitial fluid (though naturally more muscle will call for at least more interstitial fluid). So when you consider that the case, then the numbers suggested by hungry are pretty spot on. LBM gains would definitely be different, but straight up muscle, I think he hit it pretty close.

    Absolutely. I'm happy with 5 lbs of lean body mass per year. It would be nearly impossible to add 15lb of lbm in one year at this point without gaining considerable body fat.
