Did anybody see Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution on ABC.

Man, that's some crazy ****. What kids eat at schools nowadays is just incredible..

Did anybody else find it really disturbing that USDA regulation says a kid needs 2 servings of bread(in most cases they'll probably get white bread) a day.

The other thing that I found really disgusting is the amount of food thrown away. Whole apples? C'mon, why are throwing away whole apple the kids didn't even touch?

Not a lot of profit to be made in healthy whole food so it just does not receive any marketing as compared to processed/fast/junk food.

Not only the profit seems to be the problem, but that the "cooks"(in this show) don't seem to want to cook. It's easier to just unfreeze something or mix/blend some powder with water, instead of peeling veggies and cook them.
