As this is my first post on the forum I thought I'd use it to say hello and introduce myself.
I live in Cheshire, UK and originally joined the forum to research into training and supplement tips and advice. The more I come on here the better I think the website is.
I've always been into exercise. I started out swimming and doing track and field athletics when I was very little and competed at town and County level until my teens. I trained in Karate and Kickboxing for a number of years and started playing basketball when I was about 11 years old. I played town and National League but then kind of drifted out of it when I started Uni in 1999. I took it back up a few years ago but after injuring my knee a couple of times I've been reluctant to play again. And that's where weight training came in. I've always done bits to accompany the sports I play but it's become more important to me since I've stopped playing as I like to keep active. Over the last couple of months I've decided to take it more seriously and that's when I found this place.
Anyway, that's enough babble from me for now. Thanks for all the advice so far and I look forward to picking peoples' brains in the future.
