SICKNESS/WORKING OUT

  1. SICKNESS/WORKING OUT

I am stuck with the cold and have so much to do today
I worked out with it last night and it wasn't to bad
but I am not sure if it just made me worse this morning
any advice on wether i should keep going and work lightly
    or just stop.

  2. I think it is a good idea to just give your body some rest. You should let your immune system use up most of your energy in defending your body. Drink liquids and do everything else that mother would tell you to do.

Its not going to kill you to do a light workout, though. Sometimes I get restless and just have to get to the gym.

Sometimes doing LIGHT exercise (and by 'light', I don't mean doing light WEIGHTS (unless it's so light it's like doing cardio) I mean light CARDIO) can HELP when you are sick, as it can help get the toxins out of your body. Otherwise resting IS good for the body and gives it a chance to battle the pathogens in your body.
