A little over a week ago I woke up with some knee issues. Did not hurt at all but it felt sensitive and I wasn't putting much weight on it wen I walked. It's gotten better durn g the day but wen it comes to going to bed it really bothers me. I can't comftable sleep on my back due to my knee feeling off. Feels like there's pressure or air in there and it's driving me crazy. It's uncomftBle to keep my leg straight
Also I can squat on it with no discomfort.

Get some form of small ball (e.g. Lacrosse) or a rolling pin and roll out your calves.

You should take as much time off in order for the pain to go away so there's no set timetable. If you feel pain, stop. Do not continue. I did this crap on my legs and tore my medial tendon and had to wear a protective boot; trust me it was not fun. You'll only do more damage.

Once it heels, you may want to alternate with some lower impact cardio like swimming and stationary bike and or elliptical. It sucks but it may need to be done.
