    All right men, time to put in your two cents. I know everyone's body responds differently but here it is: what are THE all time greatest tricep lifts to build impressive and massive size on all heads of the tricep.     You also have got to realize that guy is extremely lean! That makes the tricep stand out a lot!

    What are your thoughts on machines for triceps? I find it very hard to really feel it in my triceps when I try to isolate them with close grip bench or various dumbbell or barbell movements so I've started using the different machines my gym has to work the triceps more vigorously.

    Thats because closegrip is not an isolation exercise for your triceps! Compound exercises are better because you can use alot more weight than isolation exercises. Dont get wrong isolation exercises are needed in a bodybuilder's workout plan, but you should also be doing the majority of the compound movements: bent bb rows, bench press, squat, pullups, shoulder press, etc!

    I usually start my workouts with a heavy compound movement and then work towards the lighter ones.

    Thanks, I do try! Going heavy for the big lifts and then as I get to the isolation movements I try to go by feel and to get good tiring pump

    You need to very your positions of flexion as well, press downs with your elbows at your sides, presses to get your elbows in front of your chest, and extensions overhead. The more POF, the better your developement.

    cable monster sets to failure at the end of all tricep days

    CGBP, tate press, skull crusher, and incline french press

    also keep changing angles to isolate different parts of the tricep.

    I like doing close grip bench the way Jim Cordova describes: http://www.jimcordova.com/videos/videos.php?id=26

    actually all of his advice for most lifts are great, he focuses a lot on the "feel" aspect of the muscle which I think is often overlooked when trying to move maximal weight. You can start off heavy then drop the weight and try to incorporate this method

    Yea this is a good one man, this is what i like to see. I need to add in and switch up what I'm doing and this would be a good one.

    For long head: overhead tricep extension

    For lateral head: close grip bench (keep elbows close to body, don't let them flare out)

    For medial head: dips, or push downs with elbows as far back as possible.

    Lately I've been starting off with CGBP the trisetting overhead cable ext./OH cable ext/UH cable ext... Burns like hell and I've seen some great results with it. Probably not worth doing, it's just fun lol

    Ive been doing quad sets: 6x Close Grip DB bench press> 6x skull crushers> 12x incline skull crushers> 20 x db kickbacks
    sets 1 2 and 3 have a 4010 tempo (with the negative being 4 seconds) and set 4 has a 20X0 tempo. With no breaks between each set, talk about pain! But its effective.

    Incline triceps extension with bands are sick for pumps.

    For mass....good ole close grip bench, heavy dips, and push downs get my vote.

    Best For Building Triceps: Dips

    Pushdowns might be your favorite triceps movement, but when was the last time you did dips? Since pushdowns are a single-joint exercise, they limit how much weight you can move. Dips, however, are a multijoint movement that involves the shoulders and elbows, meaning you can handle more weight (your bodyweight plus added plates as you advance) to build size.

    I've also been loosely following ben pakulski's training ideas of hitting the muscle in a shortened and lengthened state, so it's more than just one single movement to build the muscle, get two long ropes and do rope extensions to apoint where your elbows get behind your back.....stuff like that

    I'm a huge fan of dumbell skull crushers. Once you get the good form down pat, it's a great lift I always feel the next day
