Pain in right bicep when working out biceps.

About a month ago my right bicep began to hurt. It's not the whole bicep just near my elbow where it attaches. It feels like its about to rip off sometimes. Once I get going the pain starts to go away a little. I've been icing it,heat padding it. Nothing helps. Starting to think maybe tendinitis? Would wearing a elbow sleeve help? Thanks guys!!

I've had similar problems with my bicep. When it flairs up I immediately stop working biceps, ice it alot and then when it starts to feel better. I will start off real light and ease my way back up.

I drive a truck for a job. No there's no pain in my hand or forearm. Just right where my
Bicep hits my elbow. So possible tendinitis ?

That's my vote. It's pretty common.

Does it bother you especially when you go heavy on the barbell curls?

Yep it does. I have to stay away from really isolating it like doing preacher curls. I can barley do any weight doing them just due to the pain in my right bicep.

It wouldn't hurt. But honestly when this flairs up you need to give it a break.
