I am switching to a gym with a pool and might as well put it to use. I'm wondering opinions on how I should incorporate swimming as cardio. I currently do hiit on treadmill m/w/f with weight training and usually do lagging muscles on tues/thurs with no cardio. Should I swap out oneof my hiit sessions for hiit inthe pool? Or perhaps add in a few light laps on a lag day to help with keeping as lean as possible. Goal is constant recomp year round with occasional mini cut or bulk as needed.
