With out knowing to much about you but your age and size, if explosive power is your goal.
Then you should adopt a program that concentrates on Olympic lifts.
Power cleans, push presses, snatch, and clean and jerk.
Start at 3x5 at 50 % of max week one.
Finish at 4x5 at 75% of max by week 6.
I'm just spitballing here but it's a place to start.
