Lean Extreme 2.0 - Need More Dosing Info

I'm starting off taking 2 caps a days then ramping up. I'm taking my first dose upon wakening in the morning.

When would be the best time for the second dose?

a. 4 hours later as specified on the bottle.
b. Before my evening workout (about 5pm)

I guess this really depends on what time is most likely to produce the most cortisol.

And the second question is whether or not this should be taken on an empty stomach?

Thanks!

The best times would probably be to stick with the 1 upon waking then another 4 hours later. That is when cortisol levels are the highest. It doesnt really make much of a difference if taken with or without food. I personally take mine about 15-30 min before eating. That's just how the scheduling works out for me.

I usually take the doses 15 or so minutes before food. Just personal preference.

As for dosing. One upon waking, one four hours later, and then one post-workout (Although this is dinner for me).

So the consensus is that cortisol would be higher 4 hours after you wake up in the morning than during or after an evening workout?

That being the case, I will stick with my current schedule. Anybody have any research out there on this?

Lastly, when I bump it up to three doses, I will be taking one either before or after my workout. I've seen that a couple of you guys are taking them after. However, wouldn't it be better to take them just before your workout to snub the cortisol before it really gets going?

I am very interested in hearing everybody's view on this.

Thanks

I currently take 1 capsule upon waking (with Activate Xtreme and co), another one before workout (or before dinner on non-workout days), and a third capsule just before bed. Always on an empty stomach (2.5 - 3.0 hours before previous meal and about 30 - 45 minutes before next).

Eh. The acute effects of cortisol are blunted by the time you get your PWO shake/meal in, so I wouldn't worry about it.

Morning, 4 hours later, and post/dinner.

Doesn't your statement contradict yourself? First you say that my PWO shake/meal would blunt the effects of the cortisol but then you recommend taking the LX at that same time.

I think it would be best to take it at the beginning of a workout. Thoughts?

Ideally the best way to take it is first when you wake, 4 hours later and then again at night. Those are when cortisol levels peak. You need the cortisol response from training because that is what signals the cascade for Gh, IGF1 etc.

When I wrote post there, I just meant if post was dinner.

Your welcome. Sorry I wasn't clear the first time. Sometimes I just go off. My brain attempts to shut off after 8 hours of lecture.
