Since they are discontinueing it permanantly, I think we should speak up for those who like it and want Designer Supplements to keep producing it, or reformulate it! Who's with me?

Was this discontinued for any particular reason (lack of sales, drastic increase in raw materials costs, plans for a new product filling this niche, customers growing tails, etc.)?

This is a product that actually delivers on its claims. I am sad to see it go, and hope there is some sort of reformulation in the works. DS brought it to the market first and I respect their innovation and have supported them by buying Melting Point, even though numerous companies have come out with products that now contain TTA.

I believe it was due to be reformulated, but somewhere someone said Fuq It..

Either that, or you'll have to wait for Twin Peak or Sledge to wake up from their Arnold funtime..

I thought it was being reformulated.

A good alternative is also either LipidFX or Burn3d. I'd highly recommend either supplement.
DCP is good also.

I'm afraid Melting Point is going. Once the last of our inventory is sent to retailers, we will not be running anymore. This actual event is probably a few months off though, so stock up now.

We have a working design for a project currently called "MP2", which is frickin' sweet. No TTA though. And it won't be released for maybe 6 months at the least.

1-2 comments by spook at mm forum made me think against using tta

why is the reason behind stopping melting point, or abandoning tta? is it safety issues/concerns just recently discovered?

yeah, the safety of TTA has been debated at M&M a couple times. the concern involves the fact that TTA cannot be broken down. being a PPAR agonist, it can cause kidney stress and people started speculating that this was the reason it causes bloat.

More of a reason to have bloodwork done before/during/after you take anything..

I am sure a short cycle of 6 weeks is not long enough to cause any real harm. Just take at least that amount of time off until you start again, thats how it should be anyways.

To kill the speculation, MP is/was a great product -- if you can find your "sweet spot." In other words, if you can get the dose high enough to burn fat, without triggering the cramping, you probably found your favorite fatburner ever. However, because of the cramping it did not sell terribly well.

And with Matt back, we have no shortage for product ideas, and we aren't going to carry skews that don't sell. As Rob said, there will be a v2, it will not have TTA, and you will be damn impressed.

The thing is it's not a product that causes certain imbalances, for instance the newer hormones on the market.. I used 2 bottles of MP @ 6caps daily, no cramps and my kidneys are fine.. If they can only fix this damned pinched nerve..
