On Cycle Rep Ranges and more

I'm a little curious about training while on cycle, since this is my first cycle.

My strength gains have been predictable, in a good way, however, mass isn't as obvious.

I'm asking because I have been an advocate of lower volume/ higher intensity but not nessarily DC or classic HIT training.

As far as hypertrophy training goes, I realize it is somewhere in the 8-12 rep range.

I just wonder if I should be increasing the number of sets, and doing higher reps for hypertrophy, or doing a mix of strength (lower rep 3-6) and hypertrophy (8-12) sets.


Oh and that brings up another questions: rest intervals. 30 seconds? 2 minutes?


I'm sure it all depends on your goals. My #1 goal is hypertrophy followed by #2 goal strength. I guess these goals conflict in some ways, but are interconnected in others.

What is your experience with on cycle training?

TUT anyone?


Supersets? (never did them off cycle)

While on I go on a 2wk rotation 1)upper,lower,upper 2)lower,upper,lower when off I go mon) chest,tris,shoulders wed)back,bis fri) legs,abs and whatever I feel I need.I also switch up rep ranges every 6-8wks.This has helped me since ive been a compulsive overtrainer in the past!
