I'm 46 years old, was very active in my youth ( martial arts instructor, army, lifting). Got into a sedentary lifestyle for 10 years (a second kid joined the family, worked my ass off to support them) and started lifting again a year ago. English isn't my native tongue, please don't bully an old man about his spelling.
Stats:
5.77
227 lbs
Bf: 38%
stats on bench, squat later in log

Training:
4 times a week lifting / weekends working at my farm (this should count as training)

"You have to begin slowly", is what they are saying, you know, but I am a dude who always go full or nothing. There is no remedy for it, I always go 110% with everything I touch...
After 6 month of good gains at the gym I got "golfers elbow" in my left arm and "tennis elbow" in my right arm.
Bought all the crap like: flex-bar, DMSO-cream, MSM supplements, elbow strap, squeeze balls, infra red lights and whatnot. If someone is interested about what I found out , just ask.
After a lot of reading, here is what I plan to heal and recomp.:

The first 8 weeks only cardio and workouts that don't hurt my elbows combined with low cal diet to loose fat and rehab with my toys.
When healing accomplished , calories up and medium bulk for gains, with progressive lifting, as long as pain free.

1-8 cardarine GW-501516 20mg 10mg mornings/10mg pre workout
1-8 ostarine MK-2866 25mg split dosage morning/pre workout
1-19 Ibutamoren MK-677 25-50mg night (begin at 15mg going up)
1-20 huperzine-a 200mcg 3x day (HGH antagonist killer)
9-14 LGD-4033 10mg mornings (begin at 3mg going up)

15-20 Tamoxifen 40/30/30/20/20/20 mornings
15-20 mucuna dopa 2caps mornings (had good PCT results in the past with it)
Aromasin at hand
Prami at hand ( don't think I'll need it)

1-8 diet: low carb/med fat/ high prot /total about 1600kcal
9-14 diet: high carb/low fat/high prot / total about 4000kcal
15-20 PCT diet: med carb/low fat/high prot/ total 3400 kcal maintenance

I'm in for 5 days now, log follows

Day 6

Day 6
Lost 2 Lbs , Carderine is kicking in, my cardio is is going better. Cardarine drives my pulse rate down. Normally I'm in the 150-160 range when on the bicycle at level 15, now its 125-130. I noticed the same effect the last time I took it.
Upped the dosage of ibutamoren to 40mg yesterday at night and woke up today with numb hands for the first time.
Sleep is shorter then normal, now between 5-6 hours, normally 8-9 hours, but I feel refreshed.
Pain in elbows still there, but a bit better. I stopped all exercises involving curling or excessive pushing- and pulling to rest my arms.
Dieting is getting hard, Ibutamoren makes me hungry and I think I got at least 2000 cal today, cheating myself a bit, damn.

-Administrator gave me 1 point for posting in wrong forum, sorry for that, I'm a Noob

Day 7:
Woke up this morning with bad vertigo, will dose down Ibutamoren from 40mg to 30mg, after that will try split dosage 20mg/20mg mornings and before bed.
Did anyone else experienced vertigo on MK-677? Will it get better with time? How does dosing it mornings affect daily activity? Anyone?

Day 8: Ibutamoren dosage now at 35 mg at night , no problem with vertigo. Tendonitis in forearms is a bit better, not sure if because of resting or Osta+Ibutamoren.
Sleep is short but refreshing. Hard to keep the diet, feeling very hungry all day. IMHO Ibutamoren would be a great help for bulking.
No weight lost. It may be do to Ibutamoren makes you retain water, but I did not follow diet to the letter also. No gym today but overall feeling is great.

Any input from you guys is appreciated.
I'm going on vacation for one week, have to refuel batteries :)

I'll follow along. I'm 54 and have experience running Osta at 21 mg ED for 8 weeks. There was high BP issues associated with it plus suppression but the healing of joints was simply amazing. My point, maybe drop everything except for the Osta if healing is what you desire. Also, Osta only needs to be dosed once a day due to its long half life.

Thank you for the reply. I have to say, you are looking great for your age, if the picture is recent.
I'm really interested in the combination I'm running, as three of the components have healing abilities.
My goal is a recomp cycle with cutting and healing at the beginning and regaining lean mass at the end. If I don't heal in the initial 8 weeks and drop at least 18 lbs, I'll drop everything and look for alternatives. My main problems are in my forearms, where the muscles adhere to the elbows. Can't do any curling or certain pulling exercises, even brushing my teeth was a torture. Now its a bit better, but I don't know if its due to the Osta or the combination of everything. No drop of libido yet, guessing that I'm not shut down, if test drops I may consider weekly test-e, what do you think?
BP is normal, maybe do to the Carderine.
Will follow your dosing advice on Osta. Do you have a log of your past cycle? What exactly did you heal?

kenpoengineer is right too much stuff i would stay on costa and maybe extend the length the cycle to 10 weeks joint/tendons need a lot of time to heal tennis/golfers elbow its mostly soft tissue . I also plans run osta 8-10 weeks i have tennis elbow and hope this stuff help me to fix it good luck

If bulk is what you want I'd say osta for your joints, GW, and MK 677. That sounds good. I heard LGD and osta can't be ran together for some reason but I would do your research on that, I'm no expert.

Thanx for the interest. I appreciate your advice but I will stick to my plan. As I wrote in the introduction, I'm a lost case off stubbornness. Often it all ends with: " I told you so." But sometimes I prevail. Deca would have been a choice too, but I'm wary of the sides and I do not want to get on the TRT-waggon for now.
Please make a log on your progress and methods, there are zillions off tendonitis sufferers out there. I will shortly log my experience with the "Armaid" too when it arrives. It's one more rehab-tool I found for my collection. :p

Never saw a quad sarm stack but people usually do triple but I don't think 4 would hurt but I'm no scientist. How's the progress going?

Day: 16
I'm back from vacation!

Did no lifting but some kayaking, rafting, hiking and swimming. Gained 2 lbs :( damn, that's probably NOT muscles.
Followed my Osta-MK-GW regime. GW 20mg/Osta 20mg/ MK 40mg x day. Pain in forearms is better, pain free mobility, without load, at about 85%, I guess. Before vacation it was at about 60%. Kayaking went surprisingly well, I used forearm strap on my "tennis-arm" out of caution at any activity.
MK-677 still cuts my sleep short, sometimes I feel some lethargy coming on but overall I feel good.
Tomorrow first day in gym after vacation and re-activating low-cal diet, will log it.

Yes, this is what activity for Seniors looks like....
Always needing the helping hand of the younger dudes ( The tour guy did not make a joke about how I looked with that ridiculous helmet, so I spared his life)

It's a triple stack, LGD goes without Osta at the end, to regain lost lean mass. But first I have to stick to the damn diet, man, you have no idea how hungry you will get on that MK stuff.

There is the possibility, that I may drop MK-677 and go with Anavar and/or Test-e when that hunger gets too much and if libido drops because of Osta.

Oh ok, that sounds good. Looking to stack S4, LGD, and MK677 in the future.

Day: 17

Went an hour to the gym and tried my arms out a bit. I was cautious and did about 40-60% of my routine weight but slowly and very focused. Did assisted reverse pull-ups instead of free hanging, squats, lots of push-ups with elevated feet, biceps curling with machine, rowing, assisted and free dips, some stiff-legged deadlifts and other stuff.
I deliberately trained all body parts with one warm up and 2 extra sets with 15-20 reps to see how my arms respond. I did no exercises with dumbbells who were the cause of my problems.
Despite the known suppression Osta will cause, my libido (and I guess Test) is still up. When resting I saw that gym-rat-chick doing squats and had to think about baby's dying in Africa to keep everything under control in my shorts.

Workout ended 3 hours ago, only a little bit of pain in my golfers-arm. My conclusion for now is: My approach works, time will tell.
Update: Got my "Armaid" tool today, have to see the instruction DVD and will use it over the weekend, will give my opinion here in log with pics.

No elevated BP yet, still thinking that GW keeps BP down. Did my first rehab using the "Armaid", will post more details tomorrow, it's getting interesting, I promise.

Kenpoengineer, what kind of injury did you heal with Osta?

Very good to hear. I used Osta to cut some fat and help heal a shoulder injury. I noticed the elbow joints were not clicking any more too.

Medieval abortion tool, test run

Day: 19

Feeling great, no sides, will up dosage of MK-677 to 50mg tomorrow.
Now training 2 times a day. In the morning: abs, light shoulder workout , push ups and HIT cardio for 15 min. Today in the afternoon was: Full shoulder workout and abs.

Diet is under control, 6 small meals a day every 2 hours, today:

1. half cup oats with milk, 4 scrambled eggs
-pre-workout whey shake
workout
-post workout shake whey+oats
2. 1 can tuna, handful macadamia nuts unsalted
3. 8 oz raw ground beef with egg yolk, garlic, onions (Tartare) <--- anyone else likes this?
4. half cup of smashed potatoes , slices of bacon
-pre-shake
workout
-post shake whey+oats
5.1 apple , 1 banana
6. 4 scrambled eggs with onions, pieces of cooked ham

LOTS of water during the day and 3 cup of coffee , black.

It's the second day using the "Armaid", picture:
Armaid.jpg

I have high hopes with this one. It looks like an medieval abortion tool and yes, it hurts like one .... BUT it definitely suppresses the symptoms.
I strapped it to my leg (!) and started using it. My wife rolled on the floor laughing, because how it looks when you are torturing yourself with this thing.
My first intuition was to stick my arm in it , close the clamp with the other hand punching through it, like a massage. After viewing the instruction DVD that came with this plastic monster, I realized that you use it completely different. I guess you could look it up on youtube.

I'm not selling or pushing stuff, I'm dead honest, this thing seems to work. After 5 minutes of pain while using it, your arm will be a bit sore, but how can I put it..... like good-sore, like blood-circulating-sore. My workout afterwards was almost pain free and I used dumbbells for shoulders, who are normally poison for my arms. Only lifting the weights from the rack was painful for me before.
I'm still not sure how to use it more comfortable on my "golf-arm". Will see the instructions again to figure it out.

Day: 22

My Tennis- and Golfers elbow are getting better by the day. Using the "Armaid" for only 5 min a day , after workout.
I'm still not able to do Hammer curls, as it hurts a bit when trying. Diet is on spot, loosing about a pound per day. Strength is as expected while dieting, about 80%.
No workout log since I'm doing lot of cables and machines to heal my arms.

My body got used to the cycle. Sleeping now longer and with less dreams. Will up dosage of MK-677 from 40mg to 60mg. A friend noticed that I got leaner and somehow younger looking, that was a great compliment. Looking in the mirror I don't see a change, maybe a healthier skin tone, don't know. Ostarine seems to have little to no effect on my libido yet, at 20mg.

Diet:
Yesterday only fish soup with potato and fruits. Today chicken, vegetables, apples and whey pre- and post shakes and some nuts.
I'm counting calories and I'm between 1400 and 1600 a day.
Loosing still water I guess, if I keep loosing a pound per day, I will up calories.

Thanks for stopping by ! The price for that piece of plastic is ridiculous, I know but it's worth every penny spent. I have a collection of useless tools like flex-bar, rubber-finger-bands and whatnot. It may be a combination of Sarms, rest and the tool, but I'm almost sure that the Armaid made the big difference. I swear, I'm using it for 5-8 minutes a day and the pain is gone.

Wow, the same here! Glad it worked for you. I really should get money from the makers, lol.
Do you have "golfers" or "tennis"? It is NOT working for "golfers"- as well as for "tennis-elbow", at least for me.
I can't find- and press the the painful nodule with the plastic ball, if you know what I mean. But the arm got better, apparently the Osta-Ibutamoren-Rest combo worked.

Progress

Day: 26

Update: My arms have healed to the point, that I'm going more heavy on the weights again. I do NOT use dumbbells, out of fear and will do it later in the cycle.
After the off-weekend I started chest with:

free dips 12/12/12
cable fly's
bench press 95kgx12x3
inclined bench 75kgx10x3
3 different Triceps all on cable and 1 pyramidal superset on press machine (no idea how the machine is called)

The diet is going well, loosing now about 180-250gr (half a pound) a day.
down from 227lbs to 219lbs.
Ibutamoren MK-677 now at 60mg once at night. I put 2ml under the tongue, wait 5min and then do it again, until full dose is reached.
No more hungry feelings from MK, still sleeping less then normal but sleep is very restful.
Overall feeling is great, feeling younger.

Here a pic showing my back. I bet nobody here has this much hair! LOL
150316_003.jpg

No abs to see anywhere , just a fat hairy body, but hey, I'm working on it.

150316_001.jpg

This was me a year ago. Behold the body of a lazy fat person, doing absolutely nothing for 10 years but sitting, farting, working in front of a computer ....and occasionally digging for coins (better let the kids dig....)

Thank you for the inspiration!
Those are my kids, my avatar says: hairygrandpa, because I'm almost 47 and sometimes feel older, I don't have grandkids yet.
My 16 year old son is only looking at his smartphone all day, if he keeps doing so, my grandkids will only be virtual, with blocks as heads, like in minecraft.

Day: 29

Yesterday was back- and biceps day. Got really heavy on the weights, pushing me to the limits ...

Today I woke up with my two forearms hurting as bad as a month before.
I am a total moron. Sitting now on a chair and squeezing the living Jesus out of my arms with the "Armaid".
Besides of two useless arms I feel great.
Today is abs- and leg-day , who needs arms anyway?
Goddamn...

Hmm, maybe drop way back on the weights for arm work and give them time to heal. Minor setback really. Don't let it interfere with your warrior spirit.

sorry for so late answer been very busy . i had tennis elbow { still left a bit} mostly from barbell press changed my technik from suicide grip to traditional and is way better i also i try to avoid any exercises with barbell anything what can immobilize my two hands dumbbells and machines which allow me train one side independently . Armaid helps me to hit exactly the place where i feel pain and also stimulate blood flow what is the most important in regeneracion damage tissue what i can recommend you is try cryotherapy i had few sessions works wonder or if you can't afford {i do not know the price in USA } you can do this at home ice compress not only after gym but few times a day pain killer effe ct straight a way good luck.

Day: 30

Today was Deadlift- and Shoulderday.

Deadlift stiff:
187lbs x 20 (after 5 reps- 5 shrugs x4)
231lbs x15 ( 4 shrugs every few reps)

Deadlift regular:
308lbs x8 ( a few shrugs)
308lbs x 8 (no shrug left)

No max attempt , I'm on a cal- deficit diet, remember.

Shoulders on cable.

As for my arms, they are better now. The "Armaid" helps tremendously. Now I take it with me wherever I go, honestly.

My diet is spot on. I weight my meals and count calories. Lately I'm not loosing as much as I would like to and I guess that is a GOOD sign. So instead of eating less, I will wait. Maybe, just MAYBE I'm putting on muscle while loosing fat. Time will tell.

I found out, that hitting a spot above the elbow joint, where the triceps begins, has most effect. It hurts like hell though. It's in the instruction DVD too.
Icing was always used by me before, also infra red light, for warmth. Nowadays only "Armaid". I know, it sounds like I'm pushing this tool, but I'm honestly sold to it.
I do not live near the US -nor Europe. I'm a German living in South America. Here you can't get cryotherapy, but you get easily a hot woman, sunburn and cheap liquor. hehehe

Actual weight is: 217 lbs. 1500-1700 kcal per day, working out 4-5 times a week for 1 hour.
Sarms: Osta 20mg,Ibutamoren 60mg,Cardarine 20mg x day

My body is holding on to the pounds , like Lindsay Lohan to her pills.
Changed diet to "intermittent fasting", instead of eating 6 small meals a day.
Forearms are healing again, no pain when training with lower weights. Ibutamoren now without any sides, will up dosage to 80mg when supply arrives.

Maybe my mind is playing tricks on me, but I think, my love handles are a bit smaller then a week ago.

Yes , weekends I cheat, especially Saturdays with red wine and barbecue. I try to avoid beer, but I crave it badly.

Man, THANK YOU. I have nobody telling me that I'm progressing, even though I'm working my ass off to change my body. My wife has only eyes for the kids. About the hair.... at the end of my log, I will go to a waxing studio and document my first time experience, it will be a trip to hell !
Stay tuned.

Looking leaner in that picture for sure. Wow, quite the chemical concoction. You must have past experience with all these compounds but I wonder how you know exactly which components work.

It's a bit crazy ,you are right. My past experience (20 years ago) was with AAS and only recently I experienced with Cardarine and Ostarine. As AAS are too suppressive and my recovery time is very long (age?) I opted for Sarms.
After finishing the first Carda-Osta cycle, I tried Ibutamoren as a bridge to this new cycle. I know by now how my body responds to them. Ligandrol will be new for me and could be replaced by another bulking agent, like Dymethazine, if sides appear.
I'm thinking of dropping Cardarine, to better evaluate the effects of SR9009 and to be a bit on the safer side (Cardarine-cancer connection).
So, yes. I want quick results and I'm taking the risk, let's see how it goes.

Day 36:

Leg and Abs day.

Did all the typical leg machines to exhaustion. No more squatting for me, my right knee gave a signal, so I will not push it.

Maybe placebo or the SR9009 kicked in. Outperformed my 16 year old son doing inclined crunches -and on the bicycle. He is a gymnast and weights almost half my weight.
This was unexpected ! Lol

Will cut out Carderine to feel better the effects of SR9009, if there are any. Like Kenpoengineer noticed, my chemical brew is getting out of control.
