Test prop. ed injections

Hey I'm on a cycle of test prop. and var right now and I'm injecting test eod. I do tes 140mg eod, but I'm not sure if i'm getting max results since the peak of test prop is 24-36 hours then starts lowering your levels back down. I'm wondering if my gains would be more if I did 75mg or 100mg ed instead and keep my levels up during all the cycle to the end. Is there any risk for taking test ed ? what's best for keeping your blood levels up throughout the whole cycle ?
