Just started my first cycle last night. Figured I'd log it not just for my sake but also for any other first timers it might help out. I'm running test e solo.

Been lifting for about 9 years. Started during HS football. Been really serious about it for the last couple years.

First injection last night was crazy. I'm terrified of needless so I was a little nervous about my wife coming at me with a 1.5 in 25g needle! Everything went pretty smooth though. I may have to switch to a 23g though because she was white knuckling that pin to get the oil to come out! Anyway hope this log does some good for someone. I've got back bi's cardio and abs tonight so it's gonna be a good one (I love back days) I'll update later tonight with lifts and diet stuff.

Got legs tonight. Been trying to load up on carbs today so I have a little more energy than weeks leg day. My a** is still kinda sore from the PIP. And my back is sore from yesterday's back day so we'll see how squats go. Usually I don't do back and leg days back to back but the holiday screwed my week up so I had to get my back day in yesterday instead of Thursday or Friday. I was just thinking about it and this might be kind of a boring log til the test kicks in since I'm not doing a kicker...I'll update later with lifts and a starting picture.

I'm curious about the first week. Like if you get the "ON" feeling or not till 5 or 6 weeks in? Also is the pin spot still sore a couple days later? Oh and how is Libido first couple days?

I don't think you really notice any difference in any of those areas for at least a month on test e. if it wasn't for a sore injection site you probably wouldn't even know your on haha. Now prop on the other hand kicks in fast but you have to pin ED or EOD and that ain't for me.

I'm in man. I use a 22g needle to draw the test. Then I hold the syringe in my hand and warm it up for 1 minute. Then slap on a 25g needle and inject. Inject nice and slow. 1cc takes me up to 1 minute to inject. Doing it that way gives less of a PIP... at least for me.

Planned on running on the dreadmill for cardio but I couldn't even walk right so I did 2 miles on the bike and my legs were on FIRE walking out. Straight up thought I was gonna puke lol.
Now to my problem with squats.... I used to be able to squat 375 for a 1rm. I got knee surgery a few years ago and never got back into doing squats until about a year ago. And as you can see they never fully recovered to say the least. But my main problem is every time I squat it KILLS my lower back. It was worse tonight I assume because I did back yesterday. But it's bad! I try and do everything with good form. I could throw a bunch of weight on and squat ok but I can't get parallel. So I have to go super light. It almost feels like a pulling sensation in my lower back, and also sharp pains in my hips. Hopefully someone has a solution to this haha. Anyway here's a couple pics. Will update in 3 weeks probably. Protein & Glutamine shake and bed for me now though.

Im tryin to cut so I don't go too crazy on carbs. I eat a lot of meat so that's where most of my calories come from. I try to hit 3000 Cals a day with 250-275 grams of protein and on days I lift like 175-200 carbs and days I don't I try to stay right around 100.

You might want to adjust your macros a little. If your taking in 275 grams pro, 200 grams carbs, on a 3000 calorie diet that means that your fat calories are somewhere around 1100.

Here's what you got right now
Daily macros

275 gr-pro= 36% (1100 calories)
200 gr-carbs=27% ( 800 calories)
122 gr- fats= 37% (1100 calories)

I would adjust your macros to something like 45/35/20

If you weigh 220 now give or take .....a gram and a half per pound would put you at 330+ grams of pro a day. IMO you should be close to that everyday or over. Test = increase in protein synthesis. And if your worried about carbs just make sure the majority of your intake is morning time or before 1 pm and plenty of fast acting carbs post workout.

Hey thanks for the input. Nutrition hasn't been my strong point haha. I just started keeping track and logging everything a few months ago. I should have phrased that different I've Been cutting so I've only been taking in 2300 Cals. My macros usually break down to 43p/17c/27f. But yea your right now that I'm on test I'm going to try and hit higher protein and cal levels. I was always told it you should go off of LBM not total body weight for protein though.maybe someone can that reads this can clarify? Either way thanks or the input man. Today's and off day chest tomorrow. Have my 2nd injection tomorrow. Kinda looking Foward to it in a weird way lol

Not sure if it's possible to have test flu after one shot but I feel like hell tonight! I don't know if it's from back to back days at the gym or what, but I have a slight fever, Pounding headache and achey all over. Espiecally in my Lower back. Hopefully I'll feel better after I get some rest tonight.

Woke up this morning still not feeling real great but choked down a 500 cal breakfast went and killed chest and tri's anyway. Glad I did as soon as I stepped in the gym I felt awesome. Weird I know.

Hey thanks man. I'm not sure if it's going to be test only quite yet. I planned on it being test only but am considering throwing some winny in the last 6 weeks.

It could get tempting to stack it with something, but enjoy the test. In a few weeks you'll be feeling great. It feels good to add the weight on the bar.

No gym today. Gonna go kill shoulders tomorrow. I do have a question though. Is it normal to feel hot all the time on just test? Espiecally after only 5 days? Ever since Sunday I've been hot. Not like sweating buckets or anything but just enough to have some sweat under my hat sometimes?

yeah man its normal. It will stop eventually as your body adjusts. Its not a major side of Test so it doesnt get mentioned very often. Now TREN... thats a different story.

Yes it is very common to wake up soaked in sweat. It gives you night sweats as a common side. There are some guys here that while working out started to steam from their body temperature plus all of their sweat from lifting. It has a very strong thermogenic effect since it is a very powerful androgen.

Yes there is. My stance is shoulder width and I place my left foot forward about 6-10 inches of my right. It allows my stabalizer muscles to not work so hard and in turn allowing me to hit my shoulders harder.

Had an awesome back day today 5x5 deads kicked my Ass hard! Felt great in the gym today. Finally starting to feel stronger. Not from the test but from my diet and rest. My life style has changed drastically in the last few months and I'm finally starting to see the benifits from it. Pumped to say the least. And I'm ALMOST getting used to eating like a horse haha. Had my 3rd pin last night and holy hell quads hurt more than glutes! I was sore within 10 minutes after my wife pinned me last night. Usualy glutes took me about 12 hours to be sore. Anyway here are my lifts since I was going heavier today I really focused on form and squeezing back muscles on every rep. Took much less recovery time also.

30 grams whey
3 pancakes and lots of syrup ;)

That's 8 egg whites, 2 turkey sausage patty's and a whole wheat English muffin. 478 Cals, 70 g protein, 7 grams of fat and 30 carbs. Usually have oatmeal instead of the turkey sausage but I had to throw some meat in there today haha. Your breakfast sounds bomb minus the bananna and milk lol I can't drink milk and the smell of bananas make me wanna barf lol I LOVE pancakes though.

8 egg whites? Jeez I wish I could eat eggs. I hate them. I have found that I can buy 100% egg whites in a box and mix them in my shake which I did this morning forgot to add that. So guess I had about 4 egg whites as well. Plus in the shake I don't taste them along side the Chocolate syrup I add! ;) haha

Well I wouldn't necessarily say I LIKE eggs lol I feel like I'm pretty much past the point of eating things I like lol. Ever couple hours it's like "sh*t I gotta eat again" haha. I'm about due for a cheat meal though I haven't had one in about a month. I try to only take one a month.
And glad to have you along for the ride howwedo should start getting interesting in a few weeks until then might be kinda boring.

Super sets KILLED me today. I hadn't done a superset in years I forgot how much they suck haha.
Finished with cardio and abs (thought I was gonna die during cardio lol) I must be holding a ton of water or something this morning I woke up at 222.1 ??? I usually wake up around 218 my diet was pretty much the same as its been. A little more sodium yesterday that's all I can think of that would be causing me to hold water? I don't think the bloat from the test would be kicking in yet so who knows. Anyway 4th shot today going left quad.
