In your opinion where is the best place to pin? I'm too much of a pansy to use a 1.5 inch needle (long history of being scared of needles) so when I start my cycle I'm thinking I'm gonna have the wife pin my delt with a 5/8 23 g. If you didn't have to worry about seeing where you stick yourself...example having someone else pin you...where would it be? And is are 1 inch needles ok for glutes? It seems to be split 50/50 everywhere I read

1" 25 for delts, 1.5 is ok even for glutes, but 1 will work

The only pain from injecting is the initial skin break. Having the needle slide in an extra 1" doesn't cause any extra pain.
