Jared.P First cycle: rpn havoc/epistane

whats up guys! first log/real post here on AM and figured i'd make it a good one with a nice, simple rpn havoc/epi log! first off on to the important stuff:

cycle info:
*preloaded liver/heart supports 2 weeks prior
havoc/epi: 40/40/40/40/40/40

supports are nimbus cadence, coq10, taurine (waiting for pumps to hit), liv52, oleuropein/olive leaf extract (take 75mg daily, heard it makes a great liver protectant), plus fish oil/joint support/multi

pct:
nolva 20/20/20/20
ergotest at bottle directions (have 3 bottles from when i repped for them on bb.com)
thinking about adding erase/Epro - thoughts?

goals:
earlier this year i finished up a serious bulk and got up to 198-204 (im 5'8). from february until now i've been cutting. kept a lot of my muscle and got down to right around 168-170. i also just got into doing some calisthenics/bar stars type **** so for the main goal of this log, i'd like to recomp and add 3-5lbs of muscle, while losing body fat. is this even possible with such a moderate dose of epi? we'll see. a somewhat side goal of this is to hit a 300lb bench. at my heavier body weight i hit 275 1rm. after losing 30lbs, i hit 250 for an easy single and if i had a spot, might have gone heavier. i would love to hit 300lbs, at less than 180 body weight.

diet:
diet will reflect the goals. after the cut i started a reverse diet at 2500 calories. 200g+ protein, 60-80 fats, rest is carbs. after the first week i bumped it up and am right now doing 2600 calories daily and will likely bump it up to 2750 next week to take advantage of the anabolism. i naturally have a crazy metabolism so id like my body to really use as much as i can get out of the epi.

training:
i use a phat/531 hybrid routine right now that i built. basically it has a power upper day (with 5/3/1 bench as my main focus, "3" week ohp and db rows), power lower with deadlifts, then hypertrophy. i do squats on my hypertrophy leg days, and you guys will see how the training folds out from here. one note however, i suffered a blown disc injury years ago, and it took 3 years for a diagnosis. needless to say, extreme scar tissue, lack of mobility etc. and my squats/deads are NOT where they should be. i used to squat 450x7, and pull 405x5, and they are both right around the 200lb mark right now. i WILL get back to my old numbers, no matter how many compounds it takes to get there ;) I also train calisthenics once a week but have no idea wtf im doing, basically trying to progress into full planche and levers. anyone in here do that ****?

Day 12 - Legs

Went in and did leg day hypertrophy yesterday and hammered out a bunch of squats. Short amd sweet session just did:

Squats
185x10
165x10x3
115x20

Db lunges
55x5x2 (55lbs per hand)

As I said in the op im still working up to squats so my leg days are usually very few exercises and just lots of sets/reps as I get into the movement. Dosed 20mg havoc at 5 (hoping to htclehs around 6) but didnt end up going until around 7 but thats ok. Still waiting on epi to really kick in, pretty sure so far its doing a damn good job keeping me lean/tightening up even more as ive gained about 1.5-2 lbs since the start and have more vascularity than ever.

Lethargy kicked in hard today so hoping the good stuff starts week 3. Back day later on then the weekend off.

Question: best way to keep libido/"function" up? 2 year anniversary is coming up and dont want to disappoint but ill be right around week 5 by then

One more thig as far as dose timig goes, I usually work out in the morning so I do

4am: 20mg
11am: 10mg
5pm: 10mg

And on days I work out at night:
7am: 10mg
12pm: 10mg
5pm: 20mg

Should I change this? I read it can interfere with sleep so last dose shouldbe no later than 6ish but I want to keep levels as stable and even as possible

Day 13: back/shoulders

-do my shrugs extremely slowly or my neck starts to pinch/hurt. crazy pump/burn

-do a few pullups between all my sets. hit 28 total, next time i'll go for 30-35

-more weight than i've used before on each set. previous "best" was 60lbs

all in all, strength seems to be going up. not sure if this is because of the epi or not but im not complaining. so far i havent noticed any "switch" or anything, just feels like im coming out of a cut. hoping to notice a lot more going into week 3 here, if not i might up to 50mg and see if that makes a difference (as i have enough epi to do so).

Day 14 - off day

day 15 - upper body power

-255x2 went up sloowwww but it went up! 3 weeks ago i barely hit 250 for a single, so i'll take 5lbs and an extra rep. the last set was just because i was so hyped after the 255 i needed to do more. still thinking 300 is a good goal for the end of this

-been a long time since i've added weight to my pullups. 30lbs felt good

strength was definitely up today. as i mentioned with the bench, i'll take an extra rep and 5lbs more, with another set after. i weigh in *officially* tomorrow morning but i stepped on the scale today at ~173 which marks only a 2lb increase since the start. i do look/feel leaner so that works for me!

upping calories this week to 2750 and getting back on the cardio (2 MISS sessions a week, one stairs one treadmill).

stopped after the leg extensions, quad pump was too much which has always been a problem for me on leg days. i usually lower the iso volume because of it and focus on the big compounds. squats/deads are more than enough to build some solid mass.

Day 17: cardio/abs/calisthenics

cardio: 25 minutes 5.0 incline, 4.5mph
abs: leg raises 4x10, planks, decline situps

after that did some calisthenics stuff (frog stand/pseudo planche pushups) and called it a day. Tuesdays are more a cardio/abs/active recovery day without trying to push it too hard.

Day 18: Chest/arms Hypertrophy

HUUGGEEE pumps today, looking extremely lean, vascular and full. all in all feeling really good. No sides to speak of really, some very minor lethargy during the days but easily pushed through. Hope to get some progress pics up (as well as the start pics) pretty soon

have also decided that on day 22 i will be upping the dose to 50mg/day. with no sides to speak of, i cant see a reason not to, and that will finish both bottles of havoc so i wont have a partial bottle lying around.

welcome guys! reps4jesus, any input on OTC stuff i can get for libido? bottom of post #2, im not feeling shut down at all yet though and libido still sky high, i just dont want problems. i do have appnut DRIVE which is 40% icariin/forskolin, was thinking a few capsules of that a few days before and on the weekend may help.

I prefer and use a combo of cel pct assist and cialis. If you cant get pharma there are some great sources rc!

whats up guys! another triple update here:

day 19: high rep squats

squats:
95x20, 115x30, 25, 25

was short on time so i went for 100 squats in as few sets as possible. thats all i did and could do as i hobbled out of the gym after that. wont keep doing this, but my legs are still sore (and this was thursday)

day 20: back/shoulders

bb rows
165x10x3, 135x18

92x10, 85x12, 75x12

shrugs
65x15x3
-these are going up, but i have to focus on going super slow and controlled or else the nerves in my neck really hate it

pullups
40 total (usually superset pullups in between all my other sets)

-climbing every day, vascularity was sickening. superset these with plate front raises with a 45lb plate x10

back/shoulders was insane. started to see striations in my traps and chest, all the separations in my shoulders and the pump was just crazy.

-adding in the "first set last" portion of 5/3/1 to get more volume now. 225x5 felt great for being ~174lbs. definitely a PR at this weight

-my gym only has db's up to 100, so after that i have to stack which is extremely awkward to say the least

after that did 3 sets of cable rows to finish off. strapped for time this morning so i hit the main compounds and got out. still a sick workout either way and i got chit done!

pump from back/shoulders:



epi thoughts:
-so far shutdown and sides are zero, but i definitely feel as if epi is helping me lean out and putting weights up. as you can see in the pic, even though im white as fuk, more vascularity/leanness in the chest. scale says im up ~4lbs or so but i've been watching my diet very closely on the calories. bumping up to 3k this week where i'll likely leave it for 2 weeks and see how weight changes. if epi can keep me lean and putting on the pounds i'll consider it a very successful run.

also bumping the epi up to 50mg/day as soon as i can figure out *when* to bump so i can finish out all 6 weeks and both bottles of my caps.

Welcome! I just got off a 30lb cut and have zero desire to cut that much weight again so im focusing on lean gains whole watching the fat. This is the leanest, strongest and most vascular ive been at this body weight

With what you are running and eating at reasonable calories it should be mostly lean mass gained.

whats up guys! sorry for the lack of updates, had a busy last week/weekend but im back. nothing to really note as far as epi, i have upped to 50mg/day however. still dont feel any different though. i could easily attribute the added leanness/vascularity/few lbs gained to a proper reverse diet and watching it closely. going to finish off the next 9-10 days at 50mg and probably not worry about epi in the future.

does anyone have any thoughts/advice on adding ostar1ne to the cycle though? add osta at 20mg until the end of 6 total weeks, then run it through 4 weeks of pct and then stop it. that would mean id get roughly 5-5.5 weeks of osta. wouldnt finish an entire bottle, but i'd use what was left as a bridge into my next cycle at the end of the year/beginning of next with dmz/trest.

one last thing as far as bloodwork goes, i didnt get pre-cycle bloodwork but im considering getting mid cycle done and probably post-pct. my thought process is i have no idea where my levels were at before i started but i do want to see if i was shut down at all during cycle (and with a properly planned pct i should be back to normal in due time) and also to see if i have anything i'd need to worry about in the future (low test etc.) question is, if i dont feel a damn bit different with epi, what are the chances that i'd be shut down a lot?

looking solid! I plan on starting an epi cycle as well, which brand did you go with? Im thinking lgi or elite formulations

i went with RPN and got Havoc. legit brand/epi but im just a non-responder i guess as i literally dont feel the slightest bit different. i would go LG or olympus labs if i bought more (i have more for an epi/tren cycle in the future but i'll be using that mostly for the tren, may sell my mix)
