On the road for work putting up a house out of state. Left my boss' house at 5:30 this morning and drove to the job site. Stopped and filled my big ice chest with 32oz gatorades and ice. Got to the job site at 10:30 am and worked till 8 pm. I only got 2 of the Gatorades and the other guys that didn't bring anything drank the rest ( there was like 16-18 in my cooler)! Had a zip lock bag of 10 of my homemade protein granola bars to last me the 3 days we'll be gone. Had 1 today, went to get another 1 later -- all gone. Sooooooo freakin pissed! Told my boss when we got to the hotel that I was gonna go to the Walmart and buy a bunch of drinks for tomorrow. Put $80 on the company card! Lol!

Wrist is still pretty sore but I had to get some lifting in on the arms! Was on my last set and my wife came over because she was done and said, "Wow honey, you must be allergic to something! Your arms are all swollen!!" Lol! Yeah she's kinda corny but we make a good team! Got on the scale when I got home late this morning and it showed I was up 11 pounds but it wasn't a first thing in the morning weight like the others so not sure how close it really is. I'm gonna say pretty close because breakfast this morning sucked -- gas station doughnuts (only 2 though). Muscles feel rather full most of the time now. Urine is a little darker but being out in the 100+ sun all day every day this week for 10-12 hrs each day, this was to be expected. Except for Monday's aggravation over the drinks, water intake has been rather high. Still no loss of libido or any other negative sides: no cramps, back pumps nose bleeds, high bp etc! Still going really smooth. If this wrist keeps getting better, I might (might) bump to 4 caps/ day for the last of it.

I'm turning 35 this year so no. I just remember as a kid my grandfather would always squeeze my hang off... Old man strength (he'd also flex his arm and make the girl tattoo dance)

Timber framer. Heavy timber construction with joinery and 1" oak pegs instead of nails or bolts to hold it all together. Old world construction.

  17. So you think the product is helping quite substantially with your wrist? Nice numbers on those hammers and the rest of your arm strength.

Wrist is still bothering me but getting better. The pullovers were the worst but if I positioned my hands right, it wasn't bad. Feeling some good strength again. Had some back pumps today at work but didn't last long and were in no way bad/ painful.

I'm thinking no. I normally heal fairly fast so this has actually lasted longer than normal -- I think anyways.

Yeah the other guys at work think I'm nuts for lifting after work. They say we get enough lifting in as it is. Lol! Wouldn't be the first time I was called nuts or crazy! Hahaha!

Was feeling like my ears needed to pop or bad sinus pressure after the 850 press so I didn't stay too much longer at the gym feeling like I might have to lay down. I decided to stop by the pharmacy to check my BP on the way home to see if that was elevated and was the culprit for the way I was feeling. The store's machine was out of order so I just went home and relaxed. No working at home for once. I liked it! LOL! Have been fighting a touch of lethargy but nothing too bad. So far, no real sides to note. This is really going rather smooth!
Damn 490 on calves were you using the leg press for that? My gyms standing calf raise machine doesn't go that high. Unless you were doing seated calf raises which would be a ton of plates

  27. Yep, I would do calves then press on the Hammer Strength squat press. And yes, it made the calves burn like crazy!

Not sure. Not experiencing any of the normal symptoms of elevated BP. Had that one day and I think it was just from the Jack3d Advanced because the same thing happened another day I used it. Just not using a PRE right now. Will see about getting it checked tomorrow.

Today my wife, daughter and I went to help out a friend who has a broken ankle and lives by herself way out in the sticks. She's trying to get her house ready to sell but is unable to do the work herself. Spent pretty much all day over there fixing and replacing light fixtures and ceiling fans. That and helping take care of her horses. Took a lot longer doing all that stuff than I expected and just got home a little while ago so no gym today. We will be on 8's at work this week so I'll get a session in on Wednesday instead of having an off day.
