Maintaining Gains after Cycle has ended

In the past I ran a cycle of Boladrol. Almost all of the gains went to my legs, both in strength and size. In the few months after, I retained and increased strength and size. In a period where I was relocation, I worked out little and lost a lot of strength and size. For future cycles, what is the best way to not take two steps forward and two steps back?

When you come off aas you will shrink no matter what. The guys that don't shrink cruise after a cycle.
